Happy Monday to y'all! Yesterday was the Veto Ceremony where Johnny Mac took himself off the block and as planned,
Austin went up as the replacement nom. I thought for sure this week we'd see Steve leave but alas, Vanessa has another plan. She wants Austin out this week and she wants the blood on her own hands by breaking the tie! She asked Johnny Mac to vote Austin out, while Liz will vote Steve out, leaving Vanessa to break the tie and send Austin out. So I have no clue which one is going to jury this week. It all comes down to what Johnny Mac does. Pretty exciting!!
We won't find out who won until Tuesday, so we're going to be left in the dark (literally, during the feeds blackout) until then.
The feeds blackout is from Monday 9am - Tuesday 9pm.
So this is your chance to go outside, get some fresh air, run errands, or sleep. Whatever! :) I'll be back here on the blog on Tuesday night so until then, have a great 2 days off from BB17!

Vanessa thinks it's her decision, no it's not. It's JMac's. If he votes with Liz, Steve is gone. No matter which way it goes, Vanessa will need to win HOH or POV to stay in the game; her minions are plotting against her.
Okay, I admit it, Frankie was pretty annoying on last noght's show. However, for those who boycotted or otherwise missed it, Liz and Van had a really good time.

I'm elated that Vanessa is finally doing something ballsy. Though of course she still can and likely will change her mind, especially if she gets freaked out by the surprise eviction ceremony.

Yeah, The pink-haired Cockatoo was obnoxious and grating, as was his sister, but I thought the girls looked great as what they're not. I don't know what that implies.
I'm really rooting for Jmac and I think his only chance at survival is getting rid of Austin this week.
Thank you for doing all you do Jamie. Last summer we had a crazy summer as we moved across country. This summer has been equally as crazy because we bought our first house, which was a new build and that adds to the craziness. Then 2.5 weeks after we closed my engine in my car died so we were forced to buy a new car, my old car was paid off.
So we haven't been nearly as into the show this year, watching it on DVR when we get a chance. But I've been following alone here the whole time.
I would really love for BB to dial it back to where it all came from. Without the huge twists. Just people playing mind games on each other. More diverse cast too (older).

I'm new to big brother, I started watching towards the end of season 15. I'm wondering if there is any way to watch old seasons without paying a ton of money. I feel like I'm missing out on the good bb tv. Thanks!
As Vanessa was interrogating houseguests on last nights episode to see what deals they had in place with others, I had visions of her asking the same questions to people like Evil Dick, Brendon and Rachel and really any houseguest past or present that can think for themselves and giving her a proper response that starts with "F" and ends in "U".
Oh thank heavens for DVR. I am so glad I recorded last night's show. I made it thru Vanessa's constant ranting and raving and just when I thought it couldn't get any worse ..... IT DID!!! Holy Moses Frankie was beyond annoying, he was totally obnoxious!! I was incentivized to fast forwarded right thru that crap!
Omg, I said exactly this to my fiancé last night. I would just say Exactly that. Hahahah.

Tues 8p in MI is to be the BB show and Wed 8p, I am not watching but I am curious how James is doing in the jury with Meg so I will miss the jury if they show anything

LOL Bill H! My thoughts exactly! I kept thinking... who does she think she is? And why are these people cowering to her? I really hope JohnnyMac or Steve (if he indeed did manage to stay) can win HOH and finally bid her farewell. Let's see her work her magic in the jury house - I truly believe there are more and bigger balls in that house!
I just watched the episode with the bowling veto and I don't know if anyone else noticed, but when Julia was bowling Austin, her name came up as Liz on the screen lol
I just read elsewhere that the eviction is being taped 5-6 BBT so it's taking place right now.
Oh No! Not a feeds blackout! What are we all to do? I think most people besides Jamie have been on a self imposed feeds blackout this season for at least a month already. So at least it's a celebration for our #1 girl & she finally gets to join the party at least for a day & a half anyway. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Omg I was thinking the same thing last night too, her butt would have gotten booted way earlier in the game. They would have come on to her game quick. I wish BB would do another all star season.

I think that if Vanessa was part of an all star cast, previous guests would be flocking to her side. She would be a sought after asset to any alliance.
Tuesday has the Veto Comp and will show the eviction, along with the HOH comp. Wednesday another houseguest will be evicted!

CBS all access. You can watch every episode of every old season! That's what I've been doing for the past month since I quit watching this season
Thanks for your blog bc even though I can't stomach listening to these ppl on bb any longer I've still kept up with your blog to know details. There's a small part of us bb fans that just hang on for some sort of SENSE and love for the game to come through these players lol so I can't get entirely out of the loop :)

Sorry but I highly doubt it. You r the only one that thinks this way. Vanessa is good Nevis every other person is dumb. She has no chance against evil dick, Rachel, Dan or Danielle donations or better yet Dar will. They were wise. Vanessa is an emotional wreck and that is not her strategy. She would have gone long time if Britney was on the show laughing at her crazy bipolar behavior

I've been following your blog since BB12 and am posting my very first comment. I love reading the blog and appreciate your hard work. I agree that this season hasn't been very good. As you said, this season has had a lot more examples of what house guests should not do vs should do. Lol. I keep watching and reading along because it's so bad and such a train wreck that I find it entertaining. I think the season was doomed when Brian stopped making his regular comments. Looks like he had this season figured out from the start. Ha
Not only is it a bad cast, CBS has dropped the ball on many aspects. They blew it on the Big Brother take over (which could have been kind of interesting but instead it lasted 2 weeks and then they said screw it with no explanation!?), the twins twist (everyone figured out), the double HoH and BoB (flopped again just like last season - so why bring it back?), and it didn't seem like they did much with have nots - I don't remember being able to vote on what the house guests got to eat for example. Even Zingbots jokes weren't very funny.
CBS needs to go back to basics. Less is more in my opinion in this case. If there is a twist, stick with things like the diamond power of veto, Pandora's Box, and America's player for example. Also, why not try some new competitions? They are the same over and over and they happen in the same stage of the game. The house guests can basically predict when they are going to happen. I could go on and on but the point is if CBS doesn't get their act together, I think this show is going to go the way of the dodo.
