Sunday: The Overnighter

Happy Sunday Funday, y'all!! Tonight we will have a new episode to watch and it'll feature the endurance comp that Becky won and then the nominations ceremony to cap it off. As we already know, HOH Becky nominated Shelli VS Steve, with the intent to backdoor Vanessa (though technically, since Vanessa was picked to play in the veto comp yesterday, it's now not called a "backdoor" as it's more of a blindside.) Ironically, Shelli picked "Houseguest Choice" when drawing for veto players yesterday and she picked Vanessa. She apologized to Johnny Mac, saying she was scared that Vanessa would be upset if she didn't pick her.

Vanessa did a lot of panicking last night, as she has a gut feeling that she's going to be the replacement nom once Steve (Veto Winner) takes himself off the block tomorrow. She even straight-up asked Becky last night if she was going up as the renom, to which Becky lied to her face and said "no". Tomorrow is going to be one heck of an afternoon to watch on the live feeds!

Austin walked over to the hot tub to 'pick up' Liz for their hammock date. Shelli pretended to be the 'mother' and answered an imaginary door, saying 'Liz will be right down'. (I still can't tell if it was cute, or awkward. Maybe both?? haha)

Austin hands her bowl full of walnuts and M&M's..

Austin: "Here, I brought these for you."
Liz links her arm in his and off they go to the hammock for their date.
Shelli: "Curfew is in one hour, don't be late! Liz, be a lady!"
Liz: "OKay."

Austin: "So how ya doin' tonight?"
Liz: "I'm doin' well!"
Liz talks about the hot tub having algae in it, how good Austin smells..Austin says she smells nice to, but Liz says she doesn't and needs a shower. (*lol)

They talk about his beard..Liz hates it, Austin won't cut it off unless they were in a serious relationship and even then, he would just consider it. So Liz said she'll compromise since shaving it off would be "next level" stuff. She asked him to trim up his beard (she hates the ponytail in his beard). Austin said he would consider it, but he doesn't like do anything different for someone else because he feels like he's selling himself out for someone else. Liz said she respects that.

11:19pm BBT:

James/Vanessa

Vanessa's meds obviously kicked in (you can always tell because she talks a mile-a-minute and her thought process is total chaos).

She talked to James for a long time, panicking that Becky won't "hold up to the deal" to renom J-Mac and that she (V) could be the renom. James basically just tells her to go talk to Becky. During this convo, Vanessa told James that she can tell he's "bullsh*tting" her and she can read right through him. He (lies) and said he isn't.

Vanessa said she's not stupid, she thinks/knows she's going up as the renom. James said maybe he will. Vanessa calls him out and said there's no way because Becky told her that the 4 of them (Jackie/James/Meg/Becky) are working together. (*lol)

It's worth noting that during this convo, James (lied) and promised Vanessa his vote if she does go up on the block. (*It's note-worthy because if V gets sent packing, she'll have a shot at coming back in the game and this could come back to bite him in the butt.)

Becky/Vanessa

Vanessa goes and talks to Becky. Vanessa said she's not dumb and knows it's either gonna be her or J-Mac as the renom tomorrow. Becky flat-out lies to Vanessa and says she's not gonna be the replacement nom.Vanessa continues to tell Becky how when she was HOH, she got "so much extra blood on her hands" to keep Becky.

12:27am BBT:

Steve/J-Mac

Steve asks Johnny Mac if Vanessa is gonna be the replacement nom.

Steve: "Is Vanessa being blindsided?"
J-Mac: "Yes."
Steve: "Because she's nervous."

**That's pretty much it for The Overnighter! There was a lot of little worrying here & there (like Shelli staying and gunning after Meg/James/Jackie/Becky going into the Double Eviction) and Shelli warned Steve that Julia's flirting with him isn't sincere so just watch out for that. (That's a new development, Julia flirting with Steve. Maybe she's taking a page from Liz's book w/ Austin.) Today is Sunday Funday, or for me Sunday Rest-Day because this flu won't let go. lol I am feeling much better today, so that's the good news. I just hope I continue to get better throughout the week. Please stock up on your vitamins and start taking them now, the flu has hit months earlier than normal this year and it's a gnarly one!
