Monday: The Overnighter

Good morning and Happy Monday, y'all! A bit of a late start for me today, but I'm here and you guys have me all day yayy! I finally broke down and went to the doctors yesterday. I don't have the flu after all, I have strep throat. Fun, fun! The good news is that I'm on penicillin and should be good as new in no time! :D Definitely looking forward to not having a fever of 103 anymore. lol The doc didn't clear me for work today, so I'll be home in bed blogging as much as I can for y'all.

Today is the Veto Ceremony, where Steve (Veto Winner) will take himself off the block and then Vanessa will get blindsided. It's not technically a "backdoor" since Vanessa was picked to play in the veto by Shelli, so it's considered a blindside instead. I had wondered if Steve would actually think about not using the veto on himself in order to protect Vanessa from going up today (Johnny Mac told him that V will be the replacement nom) and early this morning around 5:20am BBT..

..he does toy with the idea but then concludes that his mom would 'kill him' if he didn't, though it would solve a lot of problems for him this week if he didn't.

So today we will have the 2 biggest targets in the house sitting next to each other on the block. Everyone (including myself) is anxious to find out how Vanessa will react and and how badly she will fight to stay over Shelli. Today's post-Veto Ceremony should bring some amazing live feeds entertainment!! :D

As voted on by America, the houseguests received a blowup Shark for the pool. (It was between that or a pool noodle. I kid you not. lol)

Jackie gives the shark a spin in the pool. She jokes that she's totally giving BB an "ass shot". (Yep! haha)

Shelli is seemingly not amused. lol

6:20pm BBT:
Vanessa has been doing Steve's hair and having him try on different outfits for today's POV Ceremony.

Steve/Johnny Mac

Steve and J-Mac talk about how nice Vanessa has been. They think it might be Vanessa's way of campaigning early, though Steve said him/V have always been close. They then talk about the next HOH Comp this Thursday. Johnny thinks it might be an A or B or Before/After question comp.

Steve said as a BB fan, he never liked watching the comps on the show, but he likes playing in them.

Vanessa doesn't think Becky would lie to her face, it's not the kind of person she (Becky) is. Steve plays dumb.

Vanessa: "I believe her. I don't think she's the type to flat (out) lie to my face."
Steve: "Okay."
Vanessa: "Especially when I kept my word to her and I did so much to keep my word to her."

Meg/Becky

The girls are talking about how after Vanessa leaves this week, Shelli will be the next target going into the Double Eviction. Meg thinks it'd be a good idea for Becky to tell Austin/Twins about Vanessa getting blindsided before the veto ceremony. Becky said she'll wait until around 11am to tell them.

Becky said she wouldn't be surprised if Shelli/Johnny Mac work together but still thinks Steve/Johnny Mac would both gun after the twins. Meg said she thinks Clay wants John to look after Shelli now that he's gone.

Vanessa: "If (Becky) puts me up as the replacement nom, (her game) is gonna blow up very soon!"

1:00am BBT:

Vanessa/Julia

Vanessa and Julia are talking about gunning after 'the other side' of the house. Vanessa wants Becky out first, while Julia wants James out. Vanessa thinks when the other side of the house wins power again, they'd gun after Austin 1st, then the twins in whatever order. Vanessa tells Julia that them 3 (Austin and Twins) have a "very strong shot" at making it far because of that.

Becky/Austin

Becky just told Austin that Vanessa will be the replacement nom today! She said that V has been playing both sides of the house. Austin said he understands. He asks her if she's worried that Vanessa is gonna blow up her game, Becky said she knows she will. They agree to still protect each other going into a Double Eviction. Becky tells Austin that him/the twins can vote however they want because she (B) has the votes to get V out as it stands.

**Becky was just called to the Diary Room, so the Veto Ceremony should be starting soon! I'll be back with a new post as soon as the feeds cut off for the ceremony to begin. Get the live feeds fired up, it's gonna get ugly!! :D
