Steve was totally blindsided, as he was told he wouldn't go up. Steve asked Austin who his true target is and he said "either James or Vanessa". So, we'll have to wait and see what the rest of week brings and see on Monday what Austin's true plans are. He has said repeatdly that he wants to make "really good TV" this week, and if he backdoored James, well..that would be interesting for sure. Not "good" TV, but a blindside nonetheless.

I hope nominations stay the same, so hoping James or meg win the veto.
Hopefully jmac can play both sides and get the votes to stay, sending Steve out the door. And then Vanessa will truly be alone.
I understand why everyone thinks Vanessa is the biggest threat but she's 1 person! The austwins need to go! They have too much power and too many numbers for anyone else is in the game to have a chance at winning! Although I would love to see them in the final 3/4 with Liz having to pick between her sister and Austin.
Austin/LIz/Julia's alliance should be called the Gutless Wonders. They talk a great game but then are afraid of their own shadows. Austin is afraid Vanessa will come back into the game??? if he is not careful and someone doesn't get her out pretty soon she is going to win the whole thing. Hey, Austin be afraid of that!!!!!!
I say if you have two people that you are thinking of backdooring (so obviously are thinking of getting them out), then why not put them up right off the start? If one wins POV, the other is still there. If you put up two pawns, thinking of backdooring two others, what if no one wins POV in order to take one of the pawns off? Then your pawns are still there and you lost your chance to get one of the two that you're contemplating backdooring up there. Get some balls and put your real targets up right away. Who cares if you get blood on your hands!!
Jamie, you ask what we think of the noms. Well, not much in my mind. I want to see Vanessa up there with someone that wouldn't go. If she won POV, then put your other target in her place.

I don't think Austin's game play is all that lame, he is in a wonderful position with the twins, and he has a side alliance with James and Meg. He wants Johnny Mac, Steve & Vanessa out before he goes after James and Meg. And then James and Meg, barring a miracle, will probably be toast as they will be outnumbered. Alternatively, Austin would only cry crocodile tears (even though he truly does love James and Meg) if Steve, JMac or Vanessa got them out.
The only way Austin's sweet setup could backfire is if Becky comes back and wins HOH as she told Julie she might want to go after Liz. The longer the Austwins stay in power, the harder it will be to break them up. My favorite is James and I am very happy he and Meg are not up this week. I don't care for JMac or Steve. JMac's game is horrid, Steve's is better, but not that great or he wouldn't be so set on leaving the Austrians in power when he (Steve() is so obviously 4th fiddle.
She would throw the comp to Julia and Julia would pick Liz, or she would straight up pick Julia.
I agree with everyone. If Van wins, she deserves it. The others are waiting too long to get her out. She has proven that she can convince people to do what she wants. Even though everyone wants her out, she will be a valuable vote to both sides so they'll probably keep leaving her in if they can get her to vote the way they want.
The Austwins should never have been allowed to stay this long. With three of them, at least two get to play in each HOH/Veto comp giving them a definite advantage. Plus they have either two or three votes, depending on whether one is HOH or not.
And, why is James, Meg, Steve, and JMac believing the Austwins? They need to ban together themselves and do what is best for their own game (not what Austwins or Vanessa has been telling them). Break up the Austwins. How do you think you're going to win against three? You would be at the bottom of the totem pole.
I think James really made a huge mistake going against Becky's wishes and trying to form an alliance with the Austwins with Meg.
God I hope Steve wins this Veto and owns them all.
It's not Austin's fault Vanessa is still in the game. She was on the block, bags packed then James got scared that if Shelli stayed, she'd come after him.
But everyone wants to act like that didn't happen.

I kind of agree missmobay not loving it so much this year. Other seasons and houseguest have set the bar so high. It hard. For it to get any better. No more pandora box. Every body voting together. Endurance comps last wat one hour or two. What happen to the good old days when they go all night. Oh well maybe next year I'm ready for ALLSTARS. bring back all the oldies but goodies lol
I'm just happy the Austwins are in power another week. Doesn't matter to me who's on the block, though I'd enjoy seeing a back door of Vanessa.
Not sure why others are believing keeping Austwins is good for any of them...looks like Austwins are staying, and in a couple more weeks they become half the house...4th place does not sound great to me!

Mainlady, I so agree with you 'gutless wonders' reference. Yep chicklet, all this backdooring nonsense is for the birds. Put up & shut up. Liz couldn't do it & now Austin, is proving to be spineless as well, so far.
I don't know if I could say if V won that she deserved it. It would really be a win through so much crap, I'd really prefer someone more worthy to win. V wins, just a whole lot of bullshirt IMHO.
Yep I'd kind of like for Steve to win the Veto, only problem I have with Steve is his seeming devotion to V.

The fact that it seems that Austin did not inform Steve that he's going up, seems to imply that he thinks that steve is the most expendable of the crew...i wonder if this could cause he and jmac to shift alliances to meg/james if vanessa does go.

I really want to see Austin making a big move like backdooring Vannesa. If she puts her in the replacement nomenee, she should go on thursday because all the house is against her. Austin is worried that maybe she can come back but there are good players at comps in the jury. So I expect Vannessa uot this weeek and jackie returning.

Its not the time to get Vanessa or James out.. Big brother has always been about playing the game.. over the seasons its no longer about taking out floaters like what is going on.. I honetly believe everyone that is trually playing deserves to be there.. the rest? who cares fet steve and meg out then make it go time..

At cutie pie you must be watching the wrong show last year every week it was unanimous who was going home this year it has been at least a little different two sides to a house 2 years ago with Amanda and Jeanne Annamarie that was one of the best last year sucked this year is a lot more exciting than last year
