Late last night, Liz/Vanessa/Steve battled it out for hours in the Part 1 Final HOH Endurance Comp.
Winner of Part 1 Final HOH is:
VANESSA
Steve fell, then Vanessa talked Liz into dropping by promising her Final 2.
In a few days will be Part 2 of the Final HOH, which is always a mixture of physical/mental. Since we have less than a week to go and there's no more game talk to be had (other than lying to each other about taking each other to Final 2), this is where the Overnighters stop for the season.
I'll be back with updates as they come in (ex: when Part 2 is about to be played, when jury questions will be asked, etc.) but that's about it. We're at the end of the road, guys & gals!!

Any idea if Liz was about to be eliminated anyway in the endurance comp, or did she truly give it to Vanessa because of the deal?
she was struggling for awhile. sore wrists/hands. she later told Vanessa that she was just waiting for Steve to drop.

So Vanessa is in the F2?
Vanessa deserves to win this year. She probably lost a good decade off her life from all the stress!
Vanessa not in F2 yet. Part 2 of this HOH comp will be between Liz and Steve. The winner then plays Vanessa in Part 3 of the HOH comp to determine who is the HOH that gets to pick who they take to F2 and who gets sent home.
Can't believe it, but I think I want to see Liz win. Vanessa has played the better game, but Liz isn't far behind in my book. I just don't like Vanessa and her always the victim attitude.
Vanessa still has a chance to win me over with her plea to the jury if she makes F2. If she remains delusional and doesn't own up to her game, then I don't want her to win.
I fully expect Vanessa will tell the jury how honest she was and how she never broke any deals and how she maintained her integrity and every move she made had logic and reasons and (with a fake cry) how she likes everybody and is sorry. If she goes with that crazy delusional routine, I hope she loses in a landslide.
But if she owns up to manipulating people with her crying and whining, and admits she broke deals without good reasons, and takes credit for being two-sided with almost everyone and having multiple deals in place, then I won't mind it too much if she wins. I don't think she can be honest enough with herself or the jury to do that, but we'll see.
As for Liz, she can win it if she's smart enough to put a good argument together, which is not a given. She had two huge obstacles she overcame to get to F2. She had a twin sister and she was in a showmance. That made her a huge target, and the others saw that for several weeks as well, suggesting she should be the first Austwin to go. She won comps to avoid that. She convinced the others to let her stay instead of Julia. She talked crap behind everyone's backs, but kept it in check to their faces, which is a good enough social game.
Liz was a heck of a lot more honest, trustworthy and loyal than Vanessa was. Finally, I was surprised how well Liz handled Austin's eviction. You know she hates Vanessa and Steve right now, but she is not falling apart and out-lasted Steve in HOH part 1.
As for Steve, well, go back to school, boy. If Liz wins HOH she should take Steve and win it. Vanessa should take Steve also, if she is as smart as she wants everyone to believe. I don't think Steve can win against Liz or Vanessa, but I guess the jury interviews will be the final, ultimate test. I'm looking forward to seeing if Vanessa can be honest and if Liz can be smart.
If Vanessa is so rich, why does she do her crying crap and say she needs to win this!? (like she was saying to Liz after she evicted Austin...."I can't win against Austin, I needed to evict him because I need this win"!!! WHAT???!!!) I hope to God she is planning on doing good with some of this money, like donate to the needy!
LIZ, really? All Liz's decisions came from Austin head. Vanessa, played THE best game. As Will Kerby said in season 2, "I will lie, cheat, and steal to win this game." He didn't say that to the DR, He said that during first introductions on the first episode. This game can not be played without doing as such. Liz did her share of back stabbing, Vanessa just did it better
I read here that Steve threw the Veto comp that was played on TV last night. There is no way he threw that comp. He flat out lost to Vanessa. He might think he should have won but he cracked under the pressure.
I’m with you Louis, so many who come on this blog are just like Vanessa with all the crying about the show and how bad it is. There is no way people like James, Jason, Andy, Frankie, Cody, Amanda and DaVonne could hold a candle to Vanessa.
From what I can tell Vanessa didn’t promise Liz final 2 if she dropped. Vanessa convinced Liz that Vanessa had another 10 hours left in her, that this was Vanessa’s only shot at final 2, that Liz should save herself for part 2. Obviously Liz agreed and dropped. Liz knew that if Liz lost part 2 to Steve she was done. She made a wise choice. That being said, I think Vanessa has promised final 2 with both Steve and Liz, which is smart at this point.
Your analysis is SPOT ON. I think you've persuaded me to be okay with whoever wins (based on your criteria) during a season when I'm not a fan of any of the people in the final 3.
I was thinking the SAME THING! Her face is showing all of the stress she's been feeling.
Can all these people that wanted Johnny Mac to win this game please explain to me why? Please give me a smart game move, or strategic plan he came up with, or the week he won HOH or any contribution he made to this game outside of funny DR sessions and a goofy laugh?
100% agree with statements on V. If she comes clean, I would have a tiny bit more respect for her and would guess jury would vote her way. But if she keeps up her act, they should not hand her the money. We will see how smart she really is (or dumb the jury is) if that happens and she is in F2.
I do not like Vanessa but she played the game and all of the houseguest.
Its gonna be tough for Vanessa to win as it is, so to render some control over the votes simply keep Liz forcing Austin and Julia to send 2 votes you were not going to get anyway to Liz. Chances are good that Steve will continue to be her lap dog even while she puts boot to fanny side by being evicted him(if she wins HOH). Then I believe she can win the majority of the house when its the Austwits n jmac vs the rest of the jury!
I think Vanessa is truly delusional. If she weren't she would have already confessed in the Diary Room that her antics were a part of her strategy. None of her D.R. sessions showed her owning up to breaking deals, using fake crying as strategy, bullying, or any of her other hypocritical and manipulative ways. I wouldn't have a problem with her game play if it was all a part of the plan. It has been very effective and she is the best player this season (although it's a weak cast). But because this is just Vanessa's true colors, she's hard to like and I don't want her to win.
Compare her to Dan a few years ago. Dan lied, back-stabbed, and manipulated his was to the final 2 but it was all a part of his strategy and he knew exactly what he was doing. Without doing so, he wouldn't have made it to the final 2 and he knew it was his only chance to go far. Right or wrong, I found that to be much more palatable than Vanessa who thinks she has integrity and has played a clean game when she clearly hasn't (not that she's gone to Dan levels though).
Wish this show would have contestants that are free of medications. That stuff Vanessa is on is very similar to a pain killer mixed with speed. All she needs to do is to take her meds an hour before the comp starts and she wins. Time for Zero tolerance for drugs. They check for drugs in other contests why not this one? Or is it one way production can fix the outcomes in this so called game?

Peoria, you are so correct, great reading your comments if either take Liz to final two she has "2" votes before she even opens her mouth and I want to believe she would fight but I just don't think she can out talk Vanessa who at this point should throw her name in the hat for President? She jacked with all of their minds, lied, cried and cried said "oh I'm so sorry" so many times I wanted to vomit! But I just don't think Steve has a chance if he goes to final two?? Thanks for all the entertainment Jamie's blog has been so much better than the show she's a saint! We love you

I agree with you all. I can't believe that A & S are so blinded by V. They were all talking one night admitting V was using everyone and not in a nice way. When you smell garbage its most likely garbage! Plus if it looks like garbage it is garbage. V is one of lowest players l've seen this year. Yes you have to be a good lyer to win but I don't recall seeing anyone badger everybody the way V did and threaten people like she was or the Queen and all are flunkies. And oh boy if she finds out they're lying! Off with their heads! I think S gets very afraid of her as if she bend him over knee and give him the ol what for LOL! I for another person can't stand her and would love to see L& S. as the final two. Now ic we could have had Dr. Will in there wow what a game that would be fo sure! I have no problem with Vanessa playing the victim to the houseguests. Whatever works...keep doing it! My issue is when she continues to play the victim in the diary sessions. She KNOWS that America has the ability to see every camera. Vanessa, you can insult and play the others in the house. Dont try it on those who have all access to the feeds!
Becausr its in her nature to be competetive regardless what she has to do (crying, whining). I hope she says she is a professional poker player at the end and tells everyone she played them.

How do you know about someone taking drigs? Don't reallu umderstand how they could pull it off. Just kind of curious about that one. I don't really I don't really see how they can get away with it. Course I'm kind of dumb so maybe I don't get it.l agree with you Mitchell.
I think it would be a blast if BB allowed fans to vote on past hg's to be in the house together competing against each other. Can you imagine Dan, Dr. Will, Boogie, Derrick, Evel Dick, Rachel, Ian, Jeff etc. all competing against each other!!! And maybe make the prize could be one million instead of the $500k it is now. I'm sure BB would NEVER do it and the hg's probably wouldn't either (maybe for a million though).

I saw the veto competition on Wednesday’s show and Steve DID NOT throw the competition. He just plain lost it to Vanessa. I don’t know where people are getting that he threw it unless they misunderstood what he was saying. He was saying he “should” have won it as in it was within his capability but from watching the show, it was obvious the stress got to him, he failed and he may have lost $500,000.
This season’s cast was not all that much worse than previous seasons. There were much worse houseguests than Vanessa. Frankie, Andy and Amanda from past seasons and Jace, Jackie, James, Jason, DaVonne, Audrey and Meg from this season are just a few that were worse than Vanessa.
I didn’t see that Liz dropped because Vanessa promised her final 2. Vanessa did tell Liz that Vanessa could go another 10 hrs and that Liz should be looking towards the part 2 competition with Steve and that Liz should save her body for that competition. I believe Vanessa and Liz have a final 2 with each other and a final 2 with Steve. The point was that Vanessa couldn’t take Liz to final 2 if Liz doesn’t beat Steve in the next completion. Liz understood that and dropped out leaving Vanessa with the win.
I hope whoever wins the final HOH takes Liz... And SHE WINS! I can't stand the remaining cast. Vanessa deserves to win hands down, but I'd like to see her and her minion Steve taken down a peg by Liz pulling out the win.
The drug that Vanessa is on is prescription, it's similar to Adderall and is commonly prescribed to combat ADHD. Vanessa talked about this medication on the feeds; it's not just gossip. Amanda Zimmerman was on Adderall. In both cases, their meds helped them "get ready" for comps. It may or may not be an unfair advantage, I tend to think it is unless someone is truly ADHD as in that case it just evens the person out.
I have no idea if Vanessa. or Amanda for that matter, truly have ADHD, that's over my pay grade. Not everyone on it has ADHD, for example many college students "finagle" to get a prescription as it helps them study. However, in my opinion, this type of medication can sometimes lead to erratic behavior, but it can also help a person win comps because it is similar to speed.
We seem to have a society increasingly on meds, BB reflects that trend. ADHD, sleep disorders, anxiety, etc. may be over diagnosed but it's not for me to judge who really needs the help and who doesn't.
However, I am concerned about the rumor which may or may not be true that Vanessa is set to host a show on CBS involving poker; allegedly the show will be called Poker Face. If this is true, it's an outrage as it smacks of rigging.
It really looks like Vanessa is going to win, but I am hoping a miracle occurs and Steve wins. I would even settle for Liz, but I don't think she will get rid of Vanessa, Steve might because he knows he can't win against her. Neither of them can win against her, but if they take Vanessa out one of them can win, fair and square. If they don't win, then Vanessa is champ, also fair and square but not the most attractive game play.
Everybody left in the house are complete idiots. I mean I have seen some dumb moves but them three are the worst. Worst season of bb in quite awhile. I'm for anybody but Vanessa

You've heard of Fantasy Football right? How cool would it be to have a Fantasy Big Brother? If CBS would let the fans vote for which past players we would like to have play. Can you imagine a season with all our favorites and the best BB players all in one season? How about people like Dan, Dr. Will, Boogie, Rachel, Derrick, Evel Dick, Ian, Jannell, Britney, Jeff and so on. They might not do it....but then again they might if they raised the prize money to one million dollars. I'm sure CBS would never do it...but I can dream can't I? :-)

Id get behind that. The new season of Survivor is one made up entirely of former participants that didnt win, all voted on by fans. If they took maybe 30 former BB houseguests, and let the fans vote online for 14-16 of them to get a second chance, it would be great. The numbers for this show look low in comparison to other seasons. This would definitely get fans back on board. Give popular HGs that lost (no previous winners) a second shot, instead of just bringing them back to host a veto! The all star season would have big surprises...lets have TWO Diamond POVs in the season, and not at the end. A reset button, that the fans choose when its hit. Pandoras Box twice. Bring back a houseguest from the first four evicted members, and then bring back one from the first four to make the jury. CBS owes us a mega season after promising us so much this season and not delivering, like abruptly cancelling the BB Takeover

I always noticed it about her, but it wasnt until they showed the details behind the Austin blindside that it got to me. Steve and JMac put on the act for Liz too, but JMac went in the diary room, and was honest. He said it was all an act, and it was all planned. But Vanessa kept it going in the diary room. She was the one who came up with the plan, but was crying to us to, like she needed to convince us that she was the victim. She made a great game move, but wanted to act like she was the injured party, and not Austin!
I watched part of the show last night - Vanessa is just - I can't come up with the word - just not fun or interesting - just a very strange woman. Her and that crying act is just obnoxious.
I definitely can't stand Liz, Steve should never have made it this far and ugh to Vanessa. I guess I'll root for Steve to win but it will probably be Vanessa - those people were fools for keeping her in the game.

I love JMac, but I don't think he should have won either. you have to remember that a lot of fans, if not the majority, latch onto their favorites and don't pick who they want to win by who truly played the best game. They just simply want the person they like the most to take home the win.

I think Steve out of everyone has the worst situation when it comes to who he would take. He knows that Vanessa has commanded the game, yet he also knows that Liz has 2 guaranteed Jury votes. That's s rough spot to be in.

This season would've been great if da'vonne, Jason, James, maybe meg or johnny Mac, and Jackie, or maybe Shelli were still in the game but no they had to get ask the good players out and look where f3 and f2 is now
If she is taking anything similar to Adderall before a competition that's cheating IMO. You become so focused and in the zone on that stuff and can pull off amazing things that you wouldn't normally be able to do. No wonder she is beasting through these competitions even though she is in less athletic shape than others. Even says it herself she should never be able to win some of these competitions!
she needs the money because winning is her nature there for a loss would not feel great.. Vanessa played the best game she did what your suppose to do.. how can no one see that? do we seriously forget Dr.Will or evel dick your suppose to lie, cheat whatever your loyalty should only be to yourself and if you think i am wrong the you need to go back watch episodes from previous bb like earlier seasons 5,6,7.. Liz game sucked she let everyone else run her power none of her moves were hers.. she won comps but did nothing with her wins :(.. steve floated his way to the end and i was shocked when she said there were no floaters.. what the hell were steve and johnny mac then.. did she see something i didn't.. If vanessa doesn't win then this season was useless..
She said that the entire season about her girlfriend. Wanting a letter wondering if she still loved her. The first 2 nights she was there she had a meltdown and didn't think she could do it. Her serious issues came out during all this. Whack job!
