Weds: The Overnighter

Good morning & Happy Weds to y'all!! I took a much needed day off yesterday from the feeds and I feel very refreshed!! Thanks for letting me decompress for 24 hours. I haven't been able to do that for 2 1/2 months. Very much needed. :)

Okay, so let's get caught up to speed:
*Meg is still going this week (as of now)
*Meg/James have a plan, "Operation: Trojan Horse" (details below)
*Julia will target James/Johnny Mac if she wins HOH.
*Austin told Johnny Mac he'd target James, too.
*Vanessa wants Johnny Mac to target Liz, use James as pawn against her.
*Vanessa isn't confident that Steve would target Liz like he claims.
*Austin told Steve he thought Steve would have targeted James/Becky during DE HOH. Steve said he always wanted to get Jackie out. (*huh!!??)

Meg/James came up with "Operation: Trojan Horse" early Tues morning. The plan is so far fetched and it's not going to work. In addition, Vanessa has already thought up the same plan that James/Meg hope to do (though fans are wondering if the Diary Room hinted the plan to V or not, just seems to coincidental).

"Operation: Trojan Horse" plan:
To convince Austin to vote out Julia and to blame it on Steve. Once they secure Austin in the plan, they'll get Johnny Mac to flip and vote Julia out, making Meg safe this week. (Flashback Feeds: Sept 1st at 4:10am BBT)
James: "I think (Austin) is gonna love that plan. Unless he's working with (Steve)."
Meg: "But if he's working with Steve, then Steve's gotta know it's not best to keep Julia either."
James: "It's not."

So that's the plan. Now let's get to last night's happenings.

Fast-forward to last night....

8:47pm BBT:
HOH Room
Vanessa/Steve
Steve: "Let's say I win HOH, put up James and Julia, James goes. Then what happens?"
Vanessa: "Do what needs to be done."

9:13pm BBT:
Backyard
James/Meg/Johnny Mac
Johnny Mac and Meg were shooting pool, as James was going for a light run on the elliptical when all of a sudden, they hear people screaming from the other side of the wall on the CBS lot.

James/Meg think they said "Austin wants Julia out!". (Twitter peeps think they said "America wants Julia out" and "Vanessa and Austin have deals with everyone.")

9:51pm BBT:
Have Nots Room
Johnny Mac/James
James laid down the groundwork for Operation: Trojan Horse with Johnny Mac. He said that Austin has a huge target on his back because of both twins, so it might be a good idea to let one of them go and shrink the target on his target.

James: "They control all the votes right now."
Johnny Mac: "Yea."
James: "Like, if you or me leave? Or Meg? They got a big group. They can run us outta here, so..it works for everybody (to get Julia out this week). Ya know. If we can get Austin on board, me, and hopefully get your vote too, that's 3 (votes). It'd be a big shocker. A big game-changer."
Johnny Mac: "Yea."
Johnny Mac said that him or Steve need to act like they're not gonna vote out Julia, and then it'll be 4 votes to get Julia out (Johnny Mac/James/Austin/Steve) and then Austin's game would get "blown up". James asks if Steve would vote out Julia, JM says he's worried that Austin would vote out Julia and then pin it on him (JM) or Steve. Meg walks in and the convo stops.

10:07pm BBT:
Have Nots Room
Meg/James/Johnny Mac
James is saying that it's all up to Austin for this plan to work to get Julia out and that it's a numbers game at this point and right now, "they" (Austwins) have them.

Meg: "I'm going to talk to (Austin) tonight."
Johnny Mac: "We could really flip the house."
James: "And make it fair for everybody."
Johnny Mac: "Yea."
James: "Gives us all a fighting chance."

10:13pm BBT:
HOH Room
Austin/Steve/Vanessa

Austin saying that one of the "Scamper Squad" (*I cringe every time I have to type that stupid alliance name lol) will end up in the finals. Austin can't believe that the twins are still together and haven't been targeted and how that's great for his game too because they're a trio. Vanessa/Austin agree that it doesn't matter if Liz or Julia get booted at some point because they decided to split the money 50/50 anyway.

3:10am BBT:
Bathroom
Meg/Austin
Meg approaches Austin with "Operation: Trojan Horse" to save herself this week. She said that Austin came into the house by himself and he can't keep protecting 2 people and they're putting a huge target on his back. Austin agrees but says he basically can't go against the twins and piss Liz off.

**So, it doesn't seem that Operation: Trojan Horse is gonna work. Meg can either continue to work on Austin, or her/James are gonna have to come up with a better plan. Either way, it's not looking good for Meg this week and at this point, she's still going to be the one going out the door on Thursday. Speaking of Thurs, it's a Double Eviction tomorrow and it'll be interesting to see who wins HOH, especially with Vanessa not being able to play and will be totally vulnerable. Today should be an interesting day on the live feeds, as it's Meg's last day to save herself this week. Let's see if she can pull it off!

Stay tuned...

Why o why does Steve want to side with Austwins? He HAS to know it would be best to get Julia out so that side loses a number! If he would vote her out as well as JM and James then who cares about what Austin does? Plus V cannot play in HOH so who cares if she gets mad.

Steve and JM HAVE to see that getting out one of those 4 ASAP is best if they want to make it to the end regardless of any deals with them now.

Oh, I hope Julia is gone but with this season, probably not.

They would all be stupid not to flip the house and vote Julia out, which **spoiler alert** means that they won't do it. Whenever there is the "correct move" or the "wrong move" they always, always choose the wrong move...

Andy Tatnall said...

"Can't piss Liz off"? That's WHY you blame it on Steve.

I agree with Austin. HOW have the twins not been targeted yet? At this point it's almost too late, you dummies.

I'm waiting for these knuckleheads to figure out the 3 some that will make it to the finale before its too late..
and..
WHAT HAPPENED TO BB TAKEOVER???

Can Liz and Julia split the money? I thought that was against the rules...

GMAGS said...

I don’t watch the live feeds but is Steve 100% against voting out Julia? It just makes more sense to me for Meg/James/JM to work on Steve then to go ask Austin to vote out his BB girlfriend’s sister. Asking Austin to do that is a big waste of time. And – glad your back Jamie and had some time to decompress. Although the way this season has gone, a few more days of you watching the feeds and you will probably need another 24 hours off!

It's like I've said, its the whole house against James and Meg.

Unknown said...

Because Steve sees them as the cool kids and likes the feel of sitting at the same cafeteria table.

I love that people yelled into the house. I remember when fans tried to send a message by airplane :) We all wish we could yell some advice to these houseguests!!

Ali said...

This is one of those times I kind of wish Production would intervene a little and make something interesting happen.

Jamie said...

No, they're not allowed to split the money but they're sisters, i'm sure they can figure out how to "gift it" to the other one somehow. I know Evel Dick bought his daughter Dani (2nd place winner) a brand new car that she wanted, so she could keep her $50k and still get a new car. There's ways around it.

Andy Tatnall said...

You know, at this point I'm having a hard time deciding whom I'd rather see win the game, because I can't decide which HGs I most want to be punished with a loss for their sloppy BB gameplay.

Andy Tatnall said...

Austwins? Vanessa? The Gremlins? Steve? Even J-Mac? They've all been terrible at playing this game in their own unique, special ways. Which do I have the least desire to see humbled at the end of the season?

Unknown said...

Jamie I'm glad you got some rest.

How doesn't Steve see this would be great move to actually even the playing field. If he really is a fan of the show he would wise up and start playing. Vote out Julia because it's good for his game and as well as everybody's else game.

Why are these people just realizing that they have the Austwins in the house.

They always seems to be an incident with someone yelling at the BB players. To inform them about other BB players. It never really seems to work

I would think you would want to break up strong, close alliances. Here's their chance to break up the twins - how much closer can you get than identical twins? It's hard for me to understand why they weren't targeted before Julia entered the house! You know Davonne would have gone after them! WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Unknown said...

Now that the idea of blaming Steve for a wonky vote has been outed...and Vanessa "figured it out on her own...JMac and Steve can vote out Julia and blame it on Judas!!! I mean it's already been put out there by the one side of the house, so flip it back onto AUstin. Everyone denies, denies, denies...but who will really know?! Vanessa can't play for HOH, so throw caution to the wind!

Not a fan of screamers, but seriously, is that the best they could come up with?! Why can't someone smart get close enough and scream something worthy/game changing?! *sigh*

Cutie pie said...

That's what makes this season so frustrating because how dumb people are playing

Cutie pie said...

They're not supposed to promise each other anything they could do whatever they want after they get out of the house but they're not supposed to talk about it

I was sad to read that Meg is still going home. I thought some of the house guest had some brains. I was hoping that this season was going to take a turn and finally start getting better. Oh well, all is lost, I will be abandoning the rest of this season on tv. I enjoy reading this blog and the comments more than watching it on tv.

Exactly- what did happen to BB Takeover?? I thought there was supposed to be some sort of takeover twist every week. I was excited to see what the twists were - we got a total of 3 and I guess CBS backdoored the rest - making it another boring season.

FiddleDeeDee said...

Everyone is saying break up the Austwits. Of course, that is the logical and smartest move. Problem is, these idiots are clearly not thinking smart or logically. This season sucks!

GMAGS said...

I never thought I would say this but the smartest thing said in that house this season was when Austin said he can’t believe that the twins are still together and haven’t been targeted. Think about that for a minute:

#1 They are still in the game with only a few weeks to go
#2 Austin is the one that realizes this
#3 THEY HAVEN’T BEEN TARGETED!!

That’s the part that boggles my mind. I understand that things don’t always go according to plan but the twins aren’t in the house because a plan to break them up backfired. They are in the house because no one has even targeted them. There are 8 people left in the game, 7 after the 1st eviction Thursday night and the twins have NEVER been on the block together and no one has said “hey, these two girls are sisters…maybe we should send one of them out of the game”. WOW!!!

KathyC said...

LOL - Austwits - love it!

jazz said...

Well, depending on what happens during the double eviction this may be my last week watching. I would rather shoot myself in the foot that see one of the Austwhinesaaaaah or Steve walk away with a win. The first three for obvious reasons, Steve because he is coming off as just plain stupid. Maybe he has us all fooled and will suddenly quit the act and vote out Julia. If not he is just a lump of play-doh being molded by Vanessa. Hoping for the best....expecting the worst. Thanks, Jaime for all your hard work.

I am totally perplexed as to why James Johnny and Steve don't vote Julia out. Like every body says just blame it on Austin.

rigs said...

What is all this talk about flipping the house and getting Julia out? Now is not the time. Meg must go first. Vanessa, Steve and JMac have a plan to bust up the Austwins and a better choice than Julia would be Austin or Jiz. That may not happen until James is out or they may use James to bust up the Austwins. Watching James/Meg talk game compared to Vanessa/Steve is interesting. James/Meg barely get past the surface.
Vanessa is playing the game just right. I would disagree with her that Austin was wrong to think he made as mistake and didn’t take James out last week. She says as it turned out he made the wrong decision but at the time there was no way of knowing Jmac would win that competition. I say it would have been better to get James out then but there is still time and James may be useful to Vanessa.

slnc said...

Me too, haven't really watched too much this season anyway! Jamie's blogs are more interesting..I don't care who wins at this point, this season sucked ass!

Will said...

@jamie, do they know it is double eviction this week?

A comment and a question:

God bless Vanessa's girlfriend, who must have the patience of Job. I have a feeling that this level of drama is not reserved for the Big Brother game. Like, God forbid the unthinkable happens and one leaves the cap off of the toothpaste. You know all hell will break loose and Vanessa will accuse you of insulting her.

Are pens, pencils, and paper verboten in the BB house? If so, why? If true, that is one reason, among many, I could never play this game.

What I just don't understand is how production doesn't know that the fans are unhappy with the season this year. It almost feels like production picked Vanessa to win from the beginning and have thrown things in her favor all season long. I know they have to be down in ratings, people are bored with it! I'm a stay at home mom and saw many promos for new episodes of BB at the bottom of the screen this morning…have to wonder if they are down….just super frustrated with the same old same old happening this season.

Austwits, the best name I've heard yet. Very apt. Jamie, kudos to you for stomaching the feeds and still being able to post at all. This season is such a disappointment. We wait all year to watch BB, and then we get this garbage. I bet I know the results, but Jamie, you should post a poll about who everyone wants to go home, Meg or Julia.

rigs said...

I think we can credit the fact that Austin and the twins are still there because Vanessa needs them. And they will stay there as long as she needs them which won't be too much longer. She is getting Steve and JMac in line, ready to pull the trigger. When one of them, or even maybe James, wins a comp and puts up either Julia, Liz or Austin, that trio will be broken up. It will take a master game player to pull this off. Vanessa just might be that player. James is the wild card. Will Vanessa be able to prove to James that it is in his favor to work with her?

Jamie said...

Speculation but no, they don't know.

Unknown said...

Everyone is saying that Vanessa is making a bad move by taking out meg but if I was playing big brother I would also be targeting meg and Julia because they are major floaters that are perfect to sit next to in the final 2.
So eliminating the floaters and keeping the bigger threats increases your chances of getting to the final 2. Vanessa would be smart to take Liz and Steve to the final 3. Liz will get votes but hasn't made any huge game moves. If Julia/Meg get to the final 3 they are guaranteed runner up, they will always be taken to the final 2. So I think Vanessa is making a smart move in taking out Meg. And then take out Julia in final 5!

KathyC said...

Seriously? Not the right time to get rid of a twin? LOL! Wayyyyyy overdue IMHO!

How long did that veto hint take?

I'm praying to the BB Gods (aka AG) that there is a huge flip tonight! Come on y'all!

True story

Mr, Sinister said...

@ Jamie: watching other Countries BB's show you hear production ask them all sorts of questions in the DR, on the live feeds for the U.S. Version do you hear production asking the questions?

Unknown said...

Austin has become such a big wuss. He came into the house talking all tough and how he and his alter ego Judas were going to wreak havoc and mayhem on the house. What a fraud!

Jamie said...

No, we never hear or see the diary room on the feeds.

Anonymous said...

If someone keeps working on Steve, it looks like he will flip! Last night he was doing a lot of talking to himself, saying that he can't let his guilt of sending Julia home keep him from making the best move for his game. Ooooh come on- someone convince him!!!

M Jamaar Davis said...

@Jaime
Great job as usual!

I have a casting theory. Remember last season, how so many people complained about how cerebral Derrick was in his game play? How some thought his mental dominance over everyone made the game boring? Well...this is what we get. A cast FULL of people who are doing the exact opposite of a smart move. There is no way on earth that every time a choice needs to be made, this entire cast makes the wrong one. The law of averages says they HAVE to get it right at least once! And everytime someone shows any sort of intelligence, THATS who suddenly gets evicted (eg. Davonne exposing the Twins or Becky deciding to wake up to Vanessa). BB production does listen, and sacrificed an entire season, just to get us to appreciate strong mental players!

Anonymous said...

In speculating whether it is the right time to vote out Julia, it depends on WHO it is best for. It all depends on who James would work with. If he goes with Austwins, then there would be four on that side if Julia stays, with him being #4. If he goes with Van, Steve, JMac, there could be four on that side if Meg stays, with it being a crap shoot on pecking order. Of course, as different people are voted off, the alignments will also change, with Van continuing to be on all sides unless she is voted out.

I can certainly see why keeping Julia right now is what is best for Van's game because she doesn't trust James, believes that he will side with Austin, and so far she is still supposedly in the good graces of the Austwits (that was a good one!)

Julia has done nothing either, no wins, so I say good riddance but she would be an easy one to beat in F2.

The funny thing is that James has said he would put up Austin and Vanessa.

From what I've seen, Van is the only one that has mentioned that tonight might be DE.
