Well, thanks to the Goblin alliance, Vanessa is now staying this week and Shelli will be the one getting the boot on Thursday night. At

..Vanessa/James had their talk. Vanessa started to blow up Becky's game (which most of it Becky had already told the Goblins because she predicted Vanessa would blow her game up post-veto ceremony.) But one of the things that Vanessa mentioned, was that Becky mentioned James as one of her targets and how she called him a sexist pig for some of the flirty/borderline remarks James makes. Vanessa said she'll have Austin/Liz/Julia's votes for sure this week and that if she stayed, her targets would be Becky/Steve/John (she knows that Steve/Johnny Mac/Becky are working together). By
6:38pm BBT..
..James tells Vanessa he wants to keep her in the game, along with Meg/Jackie. Austin said the twins will be down as well (and Vanessa talks to them a minute later to get them on board). So there it is: 6 votes to keep Vanessa.
So that's last night in a nutshell! Could things change between now and tomorrow night's live eviction? Of course! But doubtful. The Goblins will tell Becky last minute, so we'll see how that goes. All I know is that the Double Eviction is going to be
nuts!!

Welp. This is what happens. It's human nature. When any alliance is in power for longer than a week, they start getting power mad. The isolation in the house amplifies it, like an echo chamber. They start overthinking things, getting overly confident, and making bad mistakes. It's what happened to Shelli, Clay and Vanessa a couple of weeks ago.
And now it's about to cause Jackie, James and Meg to piss off and go against the wishes of the woman whose HOH victory was the only reason none of them were targeted this week, because none of them were winning that comp. All for what? They're still hoping to get Vanessa out with the second eviction on Thursday, so what possible benefit does this flip-flop have for their games?
Stupid.
They still have 36 hours to come to their senses, and I hope now that Becky knows, she's able to talk reason back into them.
As I predicted, looks like Vanessa will be staying. You guys may hate her crying and emotional up and down but, she is by far the best player left in the game. I don’t know if she will survive the double eviction but looks like she is going to survive round 1. And the cherry on top is that the 2nd best player left in the game (Shelli) will be out (and Vanessa had no part in it) AND I’m sure Becky will not be happy with James/Meg/Jackie for not going along with her plan and voting out Vanessa. Vanessa has the chance to come out of this okay AND the other side of the house may be divided…..James/Meg/Jackie vs Becky/JohnnyMac. This may go from the worst week possible for Vanessa to best week so far!
Both moves involve casualties. Shelley is more likely to win a comp than Vanessa and is blinded by rage against the Goblins for voting out Clay. Shelli would also be more likely to influence the trio since Vanessa showed a lot this week.
Totally disagree Andy. The points the goblins make are spot on. As much as I'd love to see Vanessa go, because I think she's overplayed from day one, she is not targeting the 3 of them. Becky has been playing both sides really well, but has not committed and is close to Shelli. It's best for J/J/M to get Shelli out. Shelli is gunning for them regardless of what is said. She will be loyal to Becky and JMac. Period.
And Shelli is a much better comp player than Vanessa. I think it's another great move.
On top of everything Vanessa may have blown up Becky's game, but Vanessa's game has been blowing up all week, and she will really be left with no one in the house (except maybe the twins who are worthless anyway) so she's still a huge target in the house with broken relationships.

Disagree with GMAGS too. Vanessa is by not the best player in this game. Not by a long shot. She didn't flip the votes this week. Goblins were flipping on their own without talking to her. She's overplayed since day one, has zero social status now that she's blown up her own game this week and she's positioned herself as a top target because of her personality.

I don't care for her emotional vampirism, but Vanessa IS the best player this season. I'm just going to have to swallow my pride, ignore the bursts, and put my support behind her.
Austin: How would Shelli be "more likely to influence" the trio when Vanessa has clearly already exerted a great deal of influence over them?
Their agreement was go evict Vanessa and then go after Shelli in DE. Their new plan is to evict Shelli and then go after Vanessa in DE. They're going for the same result at the end of the night, but getting extra blood on their hands in the process for no reason. What's the point? The new plan includes their relationship with Becky and Johnny Mac as new casualties; the original plan does not.

Bobby Kern - I do not watch the live feeds. i watch the show and follow this blog and comments. I understand that Vanessa didn't flip the votes but in mu opinion, she will come out of this week (if she can survive the 2nd eviction) in great shape. Shelli, a strong player will be gone and Vanessa will not "have blood on her hands" for it. Meg/James/Jackie will piss off Beck/JMac but not voting out Vanessa. She still has her relationship with the twins/Austin and from what I read, Steve likes Vanessa. Won't this be a perfect week for her? Help me understand?
I don't know about the DE. Do you think that Austwins will really go for V if they get either Steve or JMac out? I would think they would already have broken up that new trio and would want to keep V on their side again. Just a thought.
Andy, but if shelli is out of the door first, they are more likely safe. If they take out Vanessa and shelli wins hoh during DE one of them are gone no questions asked. But if the opposite happens and Vanessa wins hoh Becky is gone. They're okay with sacrificing Becky because she betrayed them. It is a smart move but I wish Vanessa would be the me leaving. Here's hoping that both shelli an Vanessa leaves during double eviction
I really wish they would keep this a secret and not tell Becky, Johnny, or Shelli. That would make live show gold!
Watching James, Jackie and Meg is like watching the Three Stooges do their “who’s on first” routine. Austin is the “puppet master” of this game. He has the twins wrapped around his finger. I don’t understand how the twins got through college let alone high school. Austin said it best last night when he said the he, the twins, James, Jackie and Meg are of similar intellect as opposed to the high intellect of Vanessa, Steve and JMac. He is right.
If Shelli goes, she has a chance to come back after some of the dust clears. Becky really screwed up going with the gremlins/goblins/stooges. She is not as smart as I thought she was.
Isn't it safe to assume that if they aren't targeting Vanessa during the first round of evictions its because they don't intend to get her out during the double eviction? If the goal was to get her out during the double eviction then the only reason they are reversing the order and taking out shelli first is because they are afraid of shellis 1/8 shot at winning hoh and breaking up their alliance. Now if shelli is as strong as everyone thinks she is at comps then we can increase her likelihood of winning the comp to as much as 1/4 shot which may be worth getting her out first to avoid that scenario
As I recall James wanted Shelli gone last if that would have happen Vanessa would be going to Jury but I guess things change but more important Shelli will have a chance to come and if she does who will she align herself with cause both sides have did her wrong

I'm kind of on the fence about their (the Goblins) decision. On one hand it definitely is better to keep Vanessa (especially if you're James) because Shelli is definitely coming after you. Also, Vanessa made it apparent that she would go after Becky and JMac which is supported by her blowup at Becky and her pre-eviction fight with Clay/JMac.
However, Vanessa exerts more influence over the Austwins than Shelli. That could be dangerous to keep in the house. However, Vanessa will see in the upcoming weeks that it is dangerous to keep all three of them.
I think this is one of those moves that we can only speculate the outcome of. Three weeks from now it will become more obvious in hindsight which would have been better. I personally don't care for Shelli or Vanessa, but I think that Shelli is more dangerous in competitions and focused on avenging Clay, therefore not susceptible to reason.
So here's the way I see it. If they keep Vanessa she will definitely win the double eviction hoh as it will be a mental comp. she will nominate Becky and jmac. Becky will win the veto and then Vanessa will go back on her word and nominate James or Jackie. Vanessa is working with Steve, the goblins are making an awful decision. But then I also hope shelli gets back in the game and takes out Vanessa.
The next biggest target in the house should be Liz and she's got good connections with everyone. I would love to see Julia and Austin nominated against each other and Liz win the POV, that would be good tv
If they do this...i will not be sad if one of them goes home for it. I am team JMac so hope he wins next HOH.
The real plan is to get back at Shellie the rest is collateral damage She is a better comp player. They should go into a memory game. She is good at that too. Better move on her before she moves on them.

Shelli for sure is out to get James, Vanessa will go after Becky before anyone else. Either way they lose a Goblin but Becky has floated back and forth so who knows if she planned to stick with them. I think her first loyalty is JMac. JMac & Steve have been laying low, but they may have missed the boat by playing it too safe. One of them needs to win HOH (I think JMac fully realizes that, not sure about Steve; he overthinks things IMO). I know JMac is a fan favorite but his sparkling personality in the DR is absent on the feeds, much like Donny his social game is lacking.
My favorite is James, he plays hard and has a good social game. I have no idea who will win and will not be overly disappointed no matter who it is because it definitely won't be Ckelli.
While Shelli might be the more immediate threat to the "Goblin Alliance," Vanessa is still dangerous if she is kept intact. She has manipulated the house-guests since Week 3, and she has proven to be a strong player in both competitions and the social game.
Vanessa may be paranoid now and she may have lost some of her allies, but she has proven numerous times throughout the game and her poker career that she can work well and triumph under pressure. (Don't let her emotional outbursts diminish her ability to keep it cool; Audrey said it was an emotional oven in the house.)
Vanessa needs to be removed from the game sooner than later. If the Goblins were smart (and actually won the next HOH), they would put up the twins first and make it so Vanessa couldn't compete in the POV. If the Goblins (or one of the twins) wins the POV, Vanessa will be put up as the nom instead. The other twin and Austin are less likely to vote out Liz/Julia than Vanessa.
Well crap, if the millionaire crybaby stays that will make her think she can cry and get her way. I liked her for awhile in the beginning, but not now. Go Shelli
Looks like the Gremlins are making another mistake. Shelli keeps her word and she has said she will protect them. They turned her down. Shelli has the best chance of winning the next comp and the gremlins will need all the help they can get to win HOH. They are no match for Austin, the twins and Vanessa. Vanessa will keep Austin and the twins as long as possible because that is 3 votes in her pocket.
