Good afternoon, BB addicts! Earlier today right before the Veto Ceremony, there was some drama that happened. Johnny Mac told Vanessa about the 5 person alliance created (Austin/Liz/Julia+Steve/JMac) to take out Vanessa. A few minutes later, Vanessa asks Liz about the 5 person alliance and Liz basically blames it all on Steve. Since then, Vanessa has been on a "get Steve out this week" kick.
Then the Veto Ceremony happened.
Vanessa did NOT use the veto.
Steve VS Johnny Mac remain the noms.

Sigh..... I am so ready for Vanessa to leave! It was probably a smart move on JMac's part to tell Vanessa but lets hope it takes Steve out and not him. I really want JMac to stay and Jackie to come back in the house. I would really hate to see Austin, Liz, Julia, or Vanessa win this game. I am ready for the solid 3 to be broken up.
Hopefully Johnny Mac just saved himself by telling Vanessa that info. So ready for her to be out of the house!
Also, I've been thinking about the Austwins... Liz is in the BEST position in that alliance. If those 3 get to the final 3, if Julia or Austin were to win the final HOH, the would both take her! She is in he perfect position between them.
Does anyone else remember seasons past when someone won the veto they would just use it and make the HOH pick a replacement without all of this "have to ask for approval" mess! Maybe it has always been this way bc I'm pretty new to the live feeds/spoilers...but still!! All these "deals" plus Vanessa talking in general is driving me nuts.
I remember the days when people used to trade the kind of info JM gave Vanessa for deals. Now I guess it's just tell them what you know and cross your fingers?
The Austwins have a deal with everyone in the house. In addition to the five person alliance (mentioned in today's blog) that includes JMac and Steve, they have a five person alliance with James and Meg.* How they thought they could get away with this is beyond me, but it made for some sure fire entertainment this morning :)
*Not even going to get into the rest of the #BB17 alliances; so many alliances, so little time! lol
Information is currency in the BB house. Sometimes you have to spend a little as an investment on returns you get later.
Austin will regret not taking out James this week. Just as James lies in wait to scare the girls, he is doing the same with regard to Austin. Austin is a fool to trust the word of James.
Well let's hope that Steve gets eliminated Becky comes back in the house to kick some ass
@Jewel: What you say is true, but I haven't really seen any of that going on. I see JM, James and Meg spouting all kinds of info at the other side and never trying to specifically parlay any of it into deals.

So Vanessa threw Meg under the bus twice only not to use POV!!...... Plus she knows about an alliance created to take her out. Makes no sense. Ppl in this game don't have courage besides James, Jackie and Becky (2 of whom are gone). JM hasn't won HOH to prove that he has courage
I know that JMac is a fan favorite but I just don’t understand his game play. Why would he just give Vanessa information without making some kind of deal with her? Especially with Vanessa, she is the queen of making deals. Not sure that Vanessa could save him since the voters this week are the twins/Meg/James and her but at least try something JMac.
And why is no one realizing that the twins/Austin need to be broken up? People, you cannot align yourself with a team of 3 that is so tight. 2 of them are sisters and the 3rd is in a showmance with one of the sisters……that trio will NEVER break itself up. Someone will have to do it!
I love Big Brother, but right now I don't know what to think anymore.
I am hoping and praying that Steve gets evicted this week because it would hopefully increase the chances of Shelli, Jackie or Becky coming back into the game. I hope any of those 3 come back in, as long as shelli would align with Jmac, james and meg, which I could see her doing because she is a superfan and knows how dangerous the austwins are as they have got so far in the game without losing a member.
Personally, I would like to see Becky reenter to the game, take the first HOH by storm and go after someone big. I've been a fan of becky since week 2 and im so happy everyone is now team becky considering everyone used to call her a floater. But shes the only one whose attempted to make a big move this summer!
I would like Vanessa to stay in the house until final 4/5 just because she is a really great game player and it would be very boring watching big brother if there wasnt lots of strategic talk, which is vanessa in a nutshell.
Right now my final 2/3 dream scenario is Shelli or Becky, with James and JMAC.
Unfortunately I think its safe to say that Julia or Meg will be sitting in the final 2, as the ultimate pawn/ I can win against you because you've done nothing in the game, sort of situation.
well, it doesn't bother me if Steve goes - probably not as entertaining as JMac. I also wonder why they let the twins in at all and now why they haven't broken up that three - it makes no sense! and vanessa - ugh - so time for her to go.....
