Last night's episode, Vanessa said that she was "drawing lines" in the game, but umm..there are no lines drawn. Her game is exactly the way it was before she became HOH: she has Johnny Mac/Steve on one side of the house and Austin/Liz/Julia on the other side. So her targets were always James/Meg, with whom she is not aligned with.
Here's the kicker for Johnny and Steve...they could align with James (someone a lot more trustworthy and mentally stable than Vanessa, and a strong competitor) and get Julia out this week & bring in Meg as a 4th vote (and nothing more than that, since she can't win comps lol). OR..they can do what they're planning on doing, which is vote Meg out and the 3 of them (St/John/Van) can roll together and Vanessa will use them to get out Austin/Twins since she doesn't want "blood on her hands". Either way, Austin/Liz will *still* be gunning for Johnny Mac/Steve regardless of who they vote out this week.
I'm gonna be kinda low-key this week, might even take tomorrow off from blogging because either nothing is gonna happen, or there's gonna be non-stop flip flopping that will give me a headache for 3 days and the result will still be the same as the original plan come Thursday. This is how Vanessa's HOH's always go. Like clockwork. And they wear me out. lol :P

I think Wah-Nissan is an idiot. Wish James would win but it looks like that isn't going to happen.
I would love if JMac and Steve would vote Julia out and bring Meg in as the 4th but I just don’t see it happening… It’s like everyone is waiting to make a big game move but the season is (thankfully… I never thought I would say that) almost over and nobody is making a big move. NOW is the time people!!! I would have thought that Steve being the Big Brother fan he is would realize this by now. I really want James to win at this point and hope he can pull it off. Maybe if Meg leaves they will feel he is all alone and start picking each other off but I doubt it. Nobody “wants to get blood on their hands” which is a phrase thrown around WAY too much this season. Sigh….. is it time for season 18 yet because I’m done with this cast.
Oh yeah and you should totally take the day off tomorrow! We already know how tomorrow will go and you have to be over watching Vanessa as HOH. Enjoy whatever you do.
Johnny Mac and Steve should just go rogue and vote with James then explain to Vanessa it was better to break the twins up and she could claim she didn't know what was gonna happen. Meg is a wasted eviction for Vanessa.
James and Meg should have really worked on Vanessa about the fact that she is the 4th wheel in the Austin/Twins alliance. Vanessa clearly dosnt realize that. They could have saved themselves from being nominated. Vanessa has her hand in everybody's cookie jar and if Jon, Steve, James and Meg don't pull together now. Game over. I'd like to see James win this thing but he's running out of time and votes.

Jamie, I'm really surprised she put her up to start with? I thought they were the untouchables ? As we know anything can happen in this game and as we know Vanessa is like one of those "Bass Fish" on a board flip/flop flip/flop so I'm feeling like there is hope with one of the twins up there? Please hope is all we have that the rest of them in the house wake up from their COMA and realize they are in the "big brother house" and get their crap together and vote her ass out! If that would happen omg it would be a shit fest! Liz and Austin would go crazy, Vanessa would rip her hair out and that mud mask would be on her face 24/7. I can't take this cast. all the people. I liked r gone (well some ) I liked j Mac but the longer he stays in the house the drummer he gets. Common doc wake up grow some u already know how van works why would u trust her ugh I wish I could go in that house and slap them all. Lol I can't stan van. She really thinks she's making great TV. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when she gets out and she finds out how hated she was and how she ruined BB 17 Shell probably have a nervous Breck down. Lol

Hopefully that will happen and julia will go on thursday. If they do that they have more posibilities to survive the double eviction having one of them as HOH and they put liz vs austin and one of them will go. So then (obviously) Vannesa will come back with jhon/steve and the remaining austwin, will go. This is the best case scenario
Johnny Mac and Steve should side with James and get Julia out! That'd be an AMAZING move! Which this season so desperately needs...in a bad way.
Hopefully jhon and steve will keep meg and broke that trio. Then, one of them became HOH and put liz vs austin on the block in the double eviction and another austwin goes. Next week (maybe) they win HOH again and put the remaining austwin vs Vannesa and "the other side of the house" its done. That will be the best case scenario.
John and Steve need to wake up and realize that they are really the ones in control this week. They can break up the austwhinesaaaaah, pull James and Meg in for next week. Vanessa can't play for Hoh, it will be 4 of them competing against Liztin. Then again both Steve and John are pretty clueless. Maybe production will do us a favor and evict them all.

Jamie, why don't you write your own fantasy type blog for what 'should' happen as opposed to what 'will' happen? You could do all the commentary and conversations just as if it was really happening. Pick some screen shots from the feeds, then go to town with how it 'should' be! Of course, you'd have to warn us that's it is not real... Might be kind of fun. I know I'd enjoy reading your perspective.

It would be nice to see Johnny Mac, Steve, and James join together and take out Julia. Then have them add Meg in to give them the numbers. Have James or JMac get the next HOH and get Vanessa out finally. I'm so so so tired of her whining. If I wanted to hear flip-flopping and whining, I'd just turn off the tv and listen to my kids.

Based on the numbers alone, the Austwins have a 50/50 shot at HOH next week and probably better odds than that when you consider that both JM and Steve suck at comps.
Wake up! The Austwins are running this house and no one wants to do anything about it. This is disgraceful to the game.

I was thinking about this years cast and how bad they are after I took a buzzfeed quiz telling me how long I would last in the big brother house http://www.buzzfeed.com/iramadison/floaters-you-better-grab-a-life-vest#.gfqlzoZkO (final two but beat because of a sour jury - dang!) and it made me realize how bad this cast is... no one really has a strong or memorable personality or game play (maybe James? Maybe Vanessa because of her crazy antics?)
But then I realized that Meg could have played and AMAZING game if she just won a competition once in a while! She has a great social game (maybe not so much now but that's not her fault - the twins would be hard to get along with) and she's pretty smart and doesn't seem too scared to get people out but still be liked afterwards.

They should just send Julia to jury now, regardless of how Vanessa wants it to go down. Vanessa talks more game than anybody else left , but she is terrible at playing it. For the love of god, please send her packing next week! I dont think she should be rewarded for being a loudmouth crybaby. Jmac is the best on the show but his strategy (oh wait, what strategy?) isn't going to get him any better than final jury member.
Perhaps James will be able to convince Johnny Mac and stupid Steve to flip on V and the Austwins. James is smart, and he just might be able to make a case that these two numb nuts can get on board with... It would be the best play of the season... Of course... There have been few "plays, so that's really not sayin much.

Maybe Vanessa is waiting for a move like that, someone else to take out an Austwin...Meg is no threat to anyone, even IF in final 2 she would not win over any HG left, including Julia...AND Vanessa can do her crying apologies to Austin & Liz for (read fast) "not knowing, but I should have known, how dare they lie to my face, go back on their word, I'll never be able to trust them again" ranting.
This would be a nice opportunity for Austin to take out Julia so he could have Liz all to himself for final 2 if they were to make.

I cannot watch anymore if Meg leaves!! As it is now, I fast forward through everyone talking, except James and Meg!! Van, Jmac, and Steve are horrible players if they don't get rid of Julia this week!! I don't understand how anyone can align with Vanessa after knowing how she twists words and makes up stuff! They have ALL been victims, yet believe everything she tells them!! I hate this season!! I would rather watch the Jury House (minus Shelli)!!

Part of Van's agreement not to put JMac up was that both he and Steve say in front of Julia that they won't vote Julia out this week. I don't know whether they did that but Steve has said he doesn't want to be the one to vote Julia out although he would vote out Austin or Liz.

Van wants to keep her options open with each of the Austwins, after someone else votes the other two out. This would be a good opportunity for her to say it was out of her hands.
@Jeffrey...I would love to see JMac & Steve vote Julia out along with James but I don't know if Steve would do that. Sometime during the week, I wouldn't be surprised if Van doesn't put the idea in their mind that would be a good plan since "it would be out of her hands" and she wouldn't have blood on her hands. But, then she would probably change her mind again.
No one seems to want to speak their mind about what they want to do. And, Steve, especially is frustrating because he keeps saying he doesn't want to talk game. I just don't see Steve going along with that even if JMac would but who knows.
I hate to say it but Meg is going home, plain and simple. Steve and John are aligned with Vanessa and the Austwins. It is basically the whole hose against James and Meg. We better pray that Steve doesn't win the HOH in the DE or James is gone for sure. If James and Meg go, Steve will probably just crawl up in the corner and cry because he has no more targets.

Actually both JMac & Steve have said on camera they are gunning for the Austwins and this has Vanessa's blessing. She is aware she is 4th on the Austwin totem poll but she needs their jury votes so wants someone else to do the deed. James has a chance of making it through DE, but would have to be a comp beast to make it much further.

JM and Steve really haven't worked much with James and Meg all season, I think it would be hard for them to trust an alliance with them now. Esp. Because when steve went to the goblins with his comment about the austwins being a fortress, james went and tattled to the austwins.

Of course Vanessa knows Austin and the twins need to be broken up. I see where there is possibility JMac’s suggestion of Steve, JMac and Vanessa working together to get out Austin and the twins after is gone. That is a good plan even though James is not my favorite to win. His is just plain too dishonest and nasty. If Steve, JMac and Vanessa are smart they will use James to get out Austin and Liz then they will go after James. They could oust James next week but that would make it harder to get Austin out.
I see a lot of badmouthing of the twins but Meg is just as bad. The stuff that comes out of her mouth is not as bad as Jackie’s but the twins are no worse. I think the twins’ biggest problem is that they don’t look all that bright. I recall Julia telling Liz that she didn’t want to come off as some dumb blond. Well, too late, LOL. Austin told Vanessa that the twins would not understand the level of strategy that would favor putting Julia up against Meg. As it turns out she does understand and is ok with going up as renom.

Austin won't vote out Julia because when Liz finds out after the game is over, she will dump him. They need to get JMac and Steve to vote with James to keep Meg. Then the four of them can fight it out with Austin Liz and Vanessa to the end.
But I'm afraid its going to be Austin Liz Julia and Vanessa rolling over James JMac and Steve to the final four unless those three guys win the HOHs.
In any event, Meg and James are trying to save Meg and it'll make this week a little more interesting.
Everyone dislikes Vanessa yet everyone wants James to band together with Steve/JM to vote out Julia and keep Meg. If that were to happen, wouldn’t that be the best thing for Vanessa’s game? Austin and the twins are broken up, Austin and Liz would be angrier with Steve /JM/James/Meg so if they win HOH they will target them and not Vanessa. If James/Meg/Steve/JM win HOH, they will most likely target Austin/Liz because Vanessa kept them safe this week and Austin and Liz are still together in the game. The way I see it, Julia getting voted out will accomplish a lot for Vanessa and improve her game.
@ GMAGS, I agree with everything you said. What I do not agree with is how everyone thinks this week will be so boring in the house. The way I see it is FINALLY we might see some game moves. The past 2 weeks (yawn) has been a broken record,I barely checked the blog, but since Julia has been put up as the renom , I run to check the blog every hour to see what might be happening. I know someone has to be plotting a move this late in the game. Please someone leave a comment in this section to let us know what is happening

I'm holding out hope that someone - anyone, but James & the rather incapable Megster - wakes up to the rather obvious fact that Austwins are not & will not ever be your friend. any alliance with them is just an agreement to have a slow, sad, televised death; they MUST be broken up/weakened right now. the BB game is very disorienting, I'm sure, when you're immersed in it, but c'mon! how can anyone not see that one immutable point at the very least? I need like 2 minutes each on a phone with Vanessa/Steve/JMac.
other quick points, given that I've been quiet all season thus far :-):
-Austin is a pig; a nasty/dirty, disrespectful, vapid, delusional pig doing an outstanding job of making Caleb look good at this point. I lift & have tattoos & that kinda douche is why we get stereotyped as Neanderthals.
-the twins' parents need their money back from any/every school, certainly including charm school, that they ever attended. totally obvious parenting failures, both of them. I'd be in hiding right now, like in an oven w/the gas on, if I were the Dad.
-Vanessa is starting to grow on me; props for having the best game this year, albeit a crazy, haphazardly medicated & often quite irritating performance. she'd have my jury vote right now, however.
-don't like Steve, not really certain as to why, other than he HAS to be related somehow to Ian (whom I also didn't/don't care for). his Mom clearly loves him, so I do need to.
-love to watch JMac; easily the cast member of this season that I'd wanna have a beer with. hope that he wins.
-Meg... she's sweet & occasionally funny, but brings as much game as Jodi/Victoria did.
-I miss Jason the most of the evicted HGs, like most do, I guess.

@Raz...I took the quiz just now and also got F2 but lost because of a bitter jury. Hmmm, wonder if we both were F2 which one would they choose then? Funny. Now, I'm off to go read the interviews with the Survivor Cambodia cast.

I can't believe that Austin said last night that he wants to get a job like Jeff has, as if CBS will hire him. His ego has no bounds! I think if they got out Julia then evicted Vanessa that James and John are good competitors and they cod then target Austin/Liz. If Austin were to win HOH for next week and they group had to lose 1 the following week they could still go after the showmance!!! May be wrong but at least twins could be out and Vanessa! They need to make a big move now or they might as well kiss the money goodbye!!
I agree that this season is the MOST boring of all seasons so far. What happened to the BB Takeover that was supposed to put a new twist in every week? Stopped after 2 & that's it? Wow! That would have made the game a bit more interesting, but alas just no where in sight. Any explanation given? Not that I heard. Anyone else got one?
