Austin/Steve talked yesterday about making a 5 person alliance with: Austin/Liz/Julia/Steve/Johnny Mac. Steve then tried to add Vanessa to that alliance (1:35am BBT) last night. Yea, because an alliance of 6 when there's only 8 people left come Thursday is totally normal. *head desk*
Steve said that Vanessa would go after people that were on to her..Shelli/Jackie/Becky, and that they should keep her in the game and bring her into the alliance, but to not trust her with information.
Speaking of Vanessa, I can see her winning this whole thing and it's almost by default at this point because (1) the houseguests had so many prime chances to take her out and didn't (2) Julia mentioned last night that maybe they should wait until after the returning juror is over before getting Vanessa out. With just over a month left of BB to go this season, you do the math.
In other news, Steve camtalked to us feedsters last night and said how he thinks "it's cute" that Johnny Mac thinks they're in a real Final 2 together (Steve/Vanessa are F2). Steve said he couldn't win against JM in the end. And Johnny Mac has mentioned to Becky before about how expendable Steve is and that he won't make it far, so maybe they're both just using each other right now. Though I'm not sure how much longer that will last because JM wants Vanessa up & out if he wins HOH, while Steve will do anything to protect her.
**And that's it for The Overnighter! I don't expect much to happen today, or this week to be honest. Becky is for sure going home, there's very little game talk to be had right now. Thursday will reset everything and it can't come fast enough!! I'm done with this week of Liz as HOH. lol
Stay tuned...

You want excitement have America make one of the nominations for the block.
I was all for the excitement of the the 2nd twin making it into the house, but voting out Liz is way overdue. I don't see the appeal of being #4 or #5 in an alliance. Hopefully next week the HOH knows how to play the game!
What's "cute" is that Steve thinks he would beat Vanessa in Final 2.
I mean, I abhor Vanessa's style of play, but if she makes it to the final I'd have to grudgingly say she deserves to win. Unless Steve comes out and actually starts making real moves instead of just whispering about them to the feedsters, he's not the puppetmaster he seems to see himself as.
Steve is a twerp. It's laughable how impactful he thinks he is.
(Goddamn I wish he didn't share the same name as me)
Worst cast ever on BB... They are all clueless...
I find myself getting to a point that I forget BB is on. A few years ago, it was much watch TV for me. Now, if my 2 kids and wife didn’t like watching it so much, I wonder if I would even turn it on. The game is the same year after year…..same comps, same rules, same format, everything is predictable. Even the live vote, if you don’t watch the feeds or read the blog, you can still tell which house-guest is going home before the vote based on their speeches or what they are wearing – ever notice one house-guest is dressed to the nines while the other one is wearing athletic gear for the HOH comp that takes place after the voting.
CBS needs to take note and realize that this show is getting stale. I was excited at first this season. I thought they realized this and added the BB takeover – well, that lasted 3 weeks and then without mention, it was gone. The twin twist was an epic fail because everyone figured it out and no one did anything about it. The players selected to play have not been great ones but I truly blame the producers for not spicing things up. I feel like they have gotten lazy and just keep putting out the same show with different players year after year. Even the live shows have been lazy…..we’ve seen a ton of mistakes during the live shows from Julie and production. BB was like football to me; even if the players/teams suck, I'm still watching it because it's football. Not so much these days.
I think this is why I like Vanessa so much this year. She is the only one playing the game. Can you imagine how boring this season would be without her? You may not like her style and personality but at least she brings some drama and what little excitement is left in the game.
Not sure where I’m going with this….guess I just wanted to rant! Rant over
YES
Steve may actually get boo-ed when he gets evicted. He allowed anyone to manipulate him and he does not have a back bone. For someone to be so smart and a Big brother fanatic he has terrible game play and can't see how bad he is being used
100% YES!!
oh and Jamie, I so agree with you....this week is so boring I cannot wait for the reset! These houseguests are terrible at this game- did BB get a new casting agent?
hahaha!! good rant! I liked V as well when the game started, BECAUSE she was playing....but quite honestly, she doesn't have to do a darn thing and it's more game play than these people! I remember a time when (like you said) no one knew who was going to be evicted, it was the HOH and the house, not "the house" wants this and so on. It's definitely stale to me as well. My all time favorite season is season 8 with Evel Dick, Danielle and James- they all had attitude, they all played the game, and if you wanted to stay in the house, you won a comp!!! I wonder if they were even signed for next season.... until then, I guess we can all just sit back and watch V win! LOL
I think Vanessa is actually an example of what's wrong with recent casts. Her "strategy" has been to be an overbearing emotional martyr, and to break down crying whenever things aren't going her way.
I would have respect for her if just once in the DR -- just ONCE -- she would come clean and say, "Yes, I'm telling lies left and right, I'm crying a lot, I'm bullying people, but that's my strategy and it's working!" Instead, everything she says in DR shows that she actually believes her own BS that she's been loyal to people and all that other garbage.
The fact that all the other HGs' gameplay is terrible -- that they all are gullible idiots who would rather treat this as summer camp rather than a game to win a half million dollars -- does not make Vanessa's gameplay good. It just shows how badly the casting of this show is failing us in recent seasons.
The BB formula can keep going indefinitely without getting stale IF the casts are well chosen; that's the key its success. They could never have another twist or formula change again, and still have the show run indefinitely on the strength of HGs that actually play the game and give us compelling television. Neither Vanessa nor any of these other idiots meet that standard.
No but they need to lol casting has sucked for several seasons now.
Yeah Jamie, it's frustrating. When I think back to the early seasons up through 11 or 12, especially 6, 7, 8 and 10... man, the casts they used to have. The scheming, the double crossing, the animosity, the fearlessness, the drama! Did they lose their casting director from the old days or something? Who scouted Meg and said, "Yeah, this girl's got that BB killer instinct!"
Even when we do get a good schemer like Derrick, we only get one of them, and they run away with the game. That's almost as bad as having nobody who can play the game, like we have this year.
You could take all the HGs I hated from those old seasons -- all the Maggies, Ivettes, Ambers, Mattys, Natalies, and on and on -- and put them in a season together (we'll call it Big Brother No-Stars). And I'd still way rather watch that than any of the past three seasons and their casts full of dopes.
Lmao @ Meg comment!
How did Austin get handsy?? I have to know!
Expect the unexpected... I guess the joke's on us because we keep expecting something interesting to happen. What happened to all of the strong personalities, good versus evil, etc.?
Does Becky know she's being voted out this week? There doesn't seem to be any campaigning?
Well said Andy
You may want to head over to Twitter and look for a gif that's going around of where and what Austin's hands were doing to Liz. Ok there I said too much lol
Under the covers, Austin was liking the breasts............
Gross
I am sooo incredibly bored with this pitiful cast. I didn't even realize until today, Tuesday, that I forgot to watch Sunday's show. I use to anxiously wait for the show to come on and now I don't even remember for days that it's been on. I also use to watch BB After Dark every single night...now I fast forward through 1 or 2 of the shows a week and delete the rest. The only good thing that I got from this season is that it got me looking elsewhere for my BB fix. And I'm glad it did because I binged watched all 3 seasons of Canada's BB and I'm now thoroughly enjoying Australia's BB. They are a lot different than ours. They are more of a social game than a mental "chess type" game but imo are sooo much more fun to watch and are much more fast paced and the public is very much involved. If you want to give it a try I suggest you watch Australia's BB 2013 on utube. Hopefully our BB next year will be better, I haven't given up yet.
Thanks for the info!
Love the idea of the viewers getting to make a nomination. I still remember year one when the viewers voted on who was to be evicted. Much different game now.
Come on production!! Give the fans some power to shake up the house. These house guests are so lame (except JM). Let the fans nominate the next house guests for eviction.
Would it matter??
Vanessa would go up and James would change everyone's minds again to not evict her. Same play, different day.
The casting directors name is Robyn Kass and she's been with BB since season 2...she's been taking some real abuse on Twitter it's hilarious to read..her handle is @Kassting
Hopefully JMac, James or Meg win next HoH. They are the only ones I think would get Vanessa out that house. Otherwise I agree Jamie that they are just giving Vanessa the money.
Austin got very handsy for sure. It was disgraceful and I feel bad that Liz' family or their friends might see that. At 7:08 Monday night it showed Liz clearly look up at the camera so she knew it was on her and it got pretty intense. She also told Austin not to make it look obvious so I no longer feel Austin's actions are unwanted.
I also see Van easily winning this game because no one wants to be the one to put her up. Austin apparently has his "women in tow" so now wants a couple more guys to help get the others out before he then turns on them. After seeing some of the gross display last night, I dislike him (and Liz) even more.
I have not watched he feeds since then and don't have much interest until we have a new HOH to see if things change then.
Should have kept Da' in! Maybe jason for laughs :)
Lol. Agree
You're totally right! I had higher hopes for him. His ma is prolly yelling at her tv every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday like we all are " Steve u turd". Lol
Very
Worse bb ever. Cast is pathetic. R these idiots a reflection of the millenials? Good grief! !! We r doomed. Don't think I will watch as its obvious V will win. I'm out.
Austin put a shirt on in the kitchen!!! No one wants you arm pits over them pans and plates or look at your man bobs at the dinner table!!!!
It's not like he is young man...
Great comments here and I agree. For the last few seasons, I kept saying worst cast ever but this time is for sure. What a bunch of bores. And why would they tell them that someone can come back? Someone here will win by default - can you imagine them playing against some of the great players of the past?
I think the entire production and casting crew need to go! Start fresh - new ideas - new challenges! We would do a much better job! ha ha
@ BB - not which Canada season this was but can you imagine our version with current players having a triple evication. Also if you haven't seen UK latest a season that was great too.
I have a twist for you guys, Dr. Will & Evil Dick get to be guests for one week. What kind of hell would those 2 raise?
Jamie sorry if we all start talking about other BB's it just goes to show how boring our version really is
@Raz
I'd love to see built-in incentives to prevent voting blocks or "Because The House Wants It" nomination justifications. Maybe tie in have-not status into it?
It really doesn't matter what BB tells them because the seasons are the same year after year. Anyone that watches and studies BB knows what is going to happen and when it's going to happen. They all knew about the double eviction, they all know what types of comps are coming (endurance, physical etc.), they all know that someone from jury will have a chance to get back in the game etc. Them being told by Julie just reconfirms what they already suspected based on previous seasons. So I agree that they need to find better players but also need to tweak the game and change things up to keep house guests from knowing what is going to happen. The expect the unexpected slogan is a thing of the past.
@GMAGS
Maybe instead of sending pre-jury home, they're sequestered the whole summer, and THEY'RE the ones who compete to return to the house instead of Jury members?
@Steve Robbins......Not a fan of that idea. Can you imagine if they did that and Jase comes back in and wins? Not sure if someone getting voted out week 1 and then coming back, playing the last 3-4 weeks and winning the whole thing is fair.
