OMG, did anyone see at 2:02 this afternoon when Austin blew up at Vanessa? She continues to tell him how things should be and even when he tells her, he doesn't want to deal with conspiracy theory anymore, she just won't shut up. She just doesn't understand how aggressive she is. My gosh, she is so, so blind to her faults and is so overpowering.

Did I miss something? Why would Johnny Mac not save Meg or Jackie to backdoor James (the real threat in the Goblins alliance)? This doesn't seem like smart game play for Steve. Can't wait to find out what really went down during those commercial breaks.

My theory- Steve put up Meg and Jackie to backdoor Becky knowing most everyone would take one of them off and vote for his renom. However, JMac and Becky have a relationship on the DL and JMac knew the renom would be Becky so he didn't use the veto in order to save Becky.
I'm not happy with this outcome at all...

I agree. What a waste of an HOH. As much as I hate Vanessa, I hope Steve gets the boot soon and Jackie wins her way back into the house after working on her tan with Shelli for a couple of weeks.

So aggravated with the second eviction tonight. I wish somebody would have pressured Steve to put up Vanessa or pressure Jmac to use veto and THEN pressure Steve to put up Vanessa. Would have been clean, easy, and simple. I know being HOH on a double eviction night is pointless, but still thats when you make a BIG move and make the most out of something so small and meaningless. The biggest and, in my opinion, best move for Steve McFLOATERson would have been to put Austin and Liz up and if the veto was used then replace with Vanessa. Either way you would have split up a couple (Austin and Liz or Liz and Julia) or a sent home big target (Vanessa or Austin). I know Austin has been laying low, but still should be viewed as a big physical threat. Right now should be all about leveling the playing field before going into jury. The field is so unbalanced now. Becky is on her own, James and Meg together on their own, then you will still have the Van Austwins, and Steve in between Vanessa and JMac. Becky, James, and Meg will be picked off one by one for the next 3 weeks with Meg being the last one of them to go. Depending on the who is in power Steve or JMac will be the pawn against any of those 3 if they cant be pitted against each other one on one. I feel Steve didn't look that far into it with his noms and JMac didn't either with his veto
Okay, new take on things now that I've had time to process and digest what happened. Maybe Steve realized that Becky wasn't a real threat. Remember she originally wanted Shelli out, but her alliance went the other way. Could Steve had seen that Becky doesn't have much sway and that people like Meg and Jackie hold way more weight in the house? I refuse to believe the Big Brother geek wasted his HOH by making silly game moves. There is more to his nominations than we saw on the live show. Just my thoughts. We shall see...
I agree, either one of them or V needs to go next. I think they will just slide by until the end.
Another thought: Here's my issue with everyone's take that this HOH was a complete waste. Jackie is a smart player and has been able to put the pieces together behind what Clay and Shelli did in the weeks prior. She's not a floater, she's been able to align herself with some key players, and she's been making some good game moves. I think it's a bit off to say she's not a threat. I think in the end Vanessa is such a hated player that the jury won't vote for her. On the other hand, Jackie is well-liked and could easy pull a lot of votes if she makes it to the end. At this point in the game it's not just about voting anyone out, these evicted houseguest will be part of the jury and that adds another element to who to put up and vote out.
Vanessa told Steve that Jackie/James/Meg were planning on putting him and JMack on the block if they won HOH during DE.
So as a fan of Becky, have been since week 2, this episode was incredible for me to watch. I knew as soon as steve won HOH, he would be trying to backdoor Becky. So I was freaking out worrying that she would be going tonight, as soon as I saw she wasnt playing but JMAC was, I was instantly screaming the screen for JMAC to win and keep the nominations to same. Thank god he did because Becky would have been the renom and evicted.
Obviously im gutted jackie is gone because i love her too but Becky has a better chance of winning HOHs and taking her and JMAC to the end.
I've never like Steve because for a superfan, hes an awful player. And he made the worse move ever, I get that he thinks Becky is a problem for his game but there are more powerful players that will target steve before they turn on each other.
Steve is just an oddball. Johnny Mac said the other nite, steve thinks he a major player when he not. Do I think he wasted his HoH, not really. He got out a good player Jackie that would've gunned for him at sometime in the game. I hope Johnny Mac or Becky or James win the next HoH. Maybe then we can see Vanessa sent packing.

Steve told JMac NOT to use the veto so this isn't on JMac!! Steve thought Jackie was targeting him so he took her out. Simple & stupid. In his crazy mind it was a plan, but he wasted a perfectly good eviction IMO. So to those who hate JMac now...simmer down...it wasn't his doing. The Goblins never talk game or campaign, so it's their own fault that they get screwed over and over again.
