In other news, James/Jackie/Meg are onto the others wanting to keep Shelli (against James' wishes). James wanted to say something about it, but Meg stopped him from doing that because she fears it'd make them for sure vote Clay out. They (James/Jackie/Meg) are also onto Vanessa and Jackie has her sights locked on her to get her out ASAP, even before Shelli (if she stays). They don't understand why Vanessa would make an 8-person alliance only to betray it. James realizes that he should have taken Clay off the block and put up Vanessa as the renom. (*I told you! Ugh. :( Too late now, James.)
At one point last night, Austin was going to vote Shelli out but then Steve talked him into keeping Shelli because she's a bigger target in the game. Austin's scared that they'll know they're all in an alliance together, but Steve said it's only 3 people that would be mad at that anyway (Jackie/Meg/James).
In other news, the houseguests had their BB17 Halfway Party! Yayy!!! We're halfway done with this season! The feeds were off for 2 hours during this party (6-8pm last night).
**And that's it for the Overnighter! Unless Austin & Twins change their mind for the millionth time, it looks like it'll be Clay getting evicted tonight, leaving Shelli in the game. If all runs true to form, I'm sure Shelli will win HOH and then it'll be a slaughter this week. Usually how it works in BB, right? lol :P Okay, I'll be back tonight to blog tonight's live eviction, so I'll see you guys & gals then! :D

Worse game play season of BB history!! I thought your supposed to take out the biggest threats, not keep them in the game! Well it was an exciting week, and now back to Boring Big Brother 17...
At least last season we had people to greatly dislike and complain about - most of these people are just boring and duds. I would love to know how they pick these people - if they are going for the young (bacheolor) crowd, they didn't even pick the hotties this year.
Can you imagine any of the great past players in there with this group? If the show survives, I think the are going to need an All Star season of some kind.
I hope Jackie and Meg can pull out an HOH win this week. They need one more week to really shake things up. I prefer Jackie b/c I think Meg may be a little weak but we will see... I didn't care much for James at the start of the season but I think he is winning me over and I would love to see him win this thing. Don't get me wrong I like Johnny Mac but I don't have a clue where he is going or what side of the house he is on. The focus now needs to be getting Vanessa, Austin, and the twins out. I think leaving twins in the house is a bad idea and leaving Vanessa in the house is not smart for any of them.
I read on another thread that clay didn't even know what game he was playing. He thought he signed up for big brother/big sister.
Shelli is soooo annoying omg. I hope the houseguests realize it and vote her out.
I don't have the feeds and just watch the show and read this blog. I am still surprised by Clay and Meg during their discussion/flirtation in the bathroom while Shelli was otherwise occupied. I had no idea they were so "close"

Among Shelli's tears you'll hear her whine that both Clay and her won't make it to Jury. But she wanted Julia to join the group, so shouldn't she take some responsibility for the situation she's in?

Jamie a fight broke out between 2:00 and 2:15 bbt between James, clay, Johnny Mac, and Vanessa. Not sure why though!

I don’t understand why Austin and the twins are such wimps. I should include Becky in there also. If Vanessa, Austin, Julia, Liz, Steve stick together they should have been able to get Becky and possibly JMac to vote to keep Shelli. They fell right into the “enemies” hands by wavering. But then that could just be “production” making the show suspenseful.
Vanessa is interesting. One persona is very assertive and confident. She can put the fear into anyone in the house when that persona is in control but when the other persona comes out, she becomes hysterical and out of control. To James’s credit he can see how most “flow to power” and he uses that effectively but he certainly overestimated that. He thought once he was HOH, that meant he was KING of the house. So did Jackie. They think that since James is HOH, the house has to do what James says, LOL.
Saw Clay and Meg last night. Meg is more than your run of the mill “party girl”. Looks like party girl is looking for new partygoers to play with.
Why should people want bigger targets in the house? Most should known they have little chance of winning the game but they do have a chance. They should seek to preserve the best power and win favor of that power in order to stay in the game long enough for that “opportunity” that could come along. Steve gets it, Vanessa gets it and Shelli gets it.
Interesting that this afternoon Jackie tells Shelli she has her back in this situation (being on the block) by not having said anything about Shelli, LOL. And Clay tells Meg that if she wants to be loyal to him, she will vote him out and keep Shelli. I don’t know why people think this season is so boring. There is a lot going on.
Clay is campaigning for his woman. It is possible that the vote will be 8-1 for Shelli to stay, LOL. That would really shake up James’s and Jackie’s house. I hope Julie says “by a vote of 8 to 1, Shelli you are SAFE.
James is now saying that if the house votes to keep Shelli, he is pissed because he should have taken the $5K. DUH, dude, yes you should have. James goes to Clay and Clay tells James to get the f__k out of my face. Good for you Clay.
Presidential debate is on Fox. Big Brother will not be affected.

The big blow up between Vanessa and Clay at 2:27pm today is well worth a watch!!
