The target is James. (I predicted this on Twitter the minute Vanessa won.)
Meg, of course, was in tears after the nom ceremony. Vanessa then pretty much verbally attacked them both, with Meg even saying "I'm confused" because Vanessa wasn't making any sense for her "reasoning" for putting them up on the block. After their convo, James caught onto Vanessa lying to them.
Moving on...
If you love to hear mean girls trash-talk other people, then go ahead and flashback to 4:45pm BBT to hear the twins trashing other HG's.
Julia: "Are insecure."
Liz: "Yea. But then again, I've made fun of people in here." (*I can't with these two.)
In other news, Austin thinks Jason was the "villian" character this year. (*This guy is so out of touch with reality, it's not even funny.)
Between 12:15am-12:30am BBT, Vanessa wondered if they (Steve/Vanessa) should work with James if he stays and she realized that her game is screwed.
James, by the way, has said a few times last night that he could use the veto on Meg. So that's always a possibility, too. For the record, Meg is against James using the veto on her (if he were to win it) and told him to not "pull a Clay". Meg and James (and even Vanessa) agree that if James were to come off the block, it'd be really hard to get Meg out VS someone like Steve or J-Mac. (*Yep.)
So that's the latest & greatest in BB17 land. Today is the Veto Comp, which will determine which direction Vanessa wants her HOH week to go.

I'm not a fan of the mean girl (or guy) clubs. Personal attacks just make you look tacky and have no business in life, let alone this game. If you don't like someone's game play that is one thing, but if we have to find strength belittling them on a personal level then shame on us. Also, I was blown away that Vanessa went after Meg for crying so much. lol. That was like a true pot and kettle statement if I have ever heard one.
Jamie, hang in there girl. It's almost over. Maybe we'll get to final 3 and get the biggest BB Takeover of the summer when Julie comes out and says, "Psych! We were just messin with y'all. BB17 never happened."

I don't blame you Jamie - these people are all pretty bad. The only two left I liked are James and Meg and JMac sometimes. I can't stand the twins and Austin. Those girls are the ultimate meanie girls you really didn't like in high school! ha ha And their voices - just god awful
And it's just been such horrible game play - ugh. I'm curious - what do they say on other blogs and places you follow?
I hope all these "yucky" people don't get our show cancelled!

Vanessa will show if she wants to win by who gets voted out Thursday. Her best move would be to evict Meg then she and James, JMac and Steve could work together to go after the Austwins.
I cannot follow Austin's logic. I just cannot follow how he thinks. The villain is the role HE WANTS with that I'm Judas with a lame top hat. Sadly, he doesn't even deserve the moniker of Judas. Hearing how the twins were bashing Meg was disgusting. Seems like their game play is trash talking. If Vanessa gets the opportunity, this would be prime time to backdoor Liz and break up that trio. Doubt she will, though - she's comfortable being #4 for now - she may not get another chance.
Oh how I wish James would win Veto, come off the block, and tell 'the house' what's up - spill everything, spew his theory, all the 'truths'!!!
Of course that would not happen...seems all the HG are acting as if this game does not have ONE WINNER!!..have they watched BB before now?..all but 2 people are voted out!
Every season I am glued to every big brother blog and any bb info I can find. This season I could go the whole week without reading up or watching the show. If Vanessa turns on austwins and lets James stay. I will continue to watch. James is the last hooe this season has.
JMac is pretty much the only interesting player left. Everybody else is so boring, stupid, and emotional.
Meg and Julia - can't win comps, no strategy, floaters
Austin - disgusting, doesn't clean room, jealous, gross beard, rude
Vanessa - paranoid, emotional, indecisive, "Blood on hands" mentality that she shouldn't even have at this stage
James - inactive, stupid, pulls pranks instead of strategizing
Steve - no social game, easily manipulated, very little street knowledge
Liz - rude, snarky, hypocritical
One of the twins also wears the same shorts almost each day. I don't know who but it is gross.
Right, Bobby, it's like Julia saying that Meg shouldn't win because she hasn't won any comps. Pretty amazing how they don't see the same in themselves.
Diane, thanks for the info that Steve said he would put up Liz and Austin because most times you have to be watching the wee hours of the morning to see him talking to the camera.
Thanks, Jamie, for sitting thru the boredom and all you do to keep us updated! I was glad to read you said Vanessa realizes she should work with Steve, JMac, and James and not Austwins. Go, James, and win POV and DO NOT take Meg off the block. That would surely be a waste and of no use to the others if Van decides to go with Steve and JMac.
So I see on jokers that vanessa was talking about stay/fold comp strategies.
If the veto comp ends up being a stay/fold comp..... I might seriously not watch anymore!!!!! Why would they tip the HGs off about the type of comp it is. I'm literally gonna lose my s**t if that was the veto comp!!!! So predictable!!!

Lmao...one of my favorite posts on this blog ever...Liz is the absolute worst houseguests ever. Her DRs are infuriating to watch!! They way she delivers her lines are ridiculous.

I think vanessa thinks she will win at the end and choose. Maybe but only if she hearts the truth from Jm and Steve about the plan to back for her. Jmac even said in his dr wish I thought of that. He did bit the talk was let's bd vanessa...if James wins, she should breakup the trio Liz or austin lane long boring. ...I watched Thursday then read. I will not watch the rest unless it gets mildly interesting. Pandora box for James to choose
Unfortunately James won the power of veto. He has to go next week. Just when he needs a competition designed for him, he gets it.
At this point, I would even welcome Raxhel Reilly (sp?) and her laugh in place of any of these house guests, as at least she kept me pissed of in a way that didn't put me to sleep.
Jamie, as a long time reader, and first time poster this season, I want to thank you for all your efforts on this blog. I highly suspect watching the boredom of this seasons live feeds, choices between a bottle of vodka or using a baseball bat thru the screen had to be made at times.
Producers really gotta change things up next year. Give me a triple eviction night. Have nots lose their right to vote if violating have not status (won't name names, Shelly), let some mix of first house guests out play to get back in and NOT the first 4 jury members (but don't let house guests know that in advance. ANYTHING different such that the Gronk party isn't the biggest "twist" or takeover of the summer.
Same here! I usually can't get enough and even have bought the feeds in the past. This season I go weeks without watching. It's so so bad. I've been an avid watcher since season 1. The the most disappointing season yet!
One more twist idea. Whoever wins their way back into house, gets to and is required to immediately evict someone with his/her sole power. Hold this before HOH comp so that everyone is available to pick from.

The only thing better than James winning veto is if he next wins HOH. He's the only reason I'm still watching. I wish they would let the veto winner choose the renom. That would make the game a little more interesting and prevent one group of people controlling the game week after week like the Austwins.
Like the idea of all HG having chance to come back in game...did you notice how nicey nice the goodbye messages became when the HG became jurors?...interesting.
