Good afternoon, BB addicts!! So at this point, it seems that Vanessa is definitely staying but depending on who wins HOH during the Double Eviction tomorrow, she very well could be going out the door right behind Shelli.
Let's see what happened this afternoon, shall we??

Becky tells John that the Goblins are "undecided" on which HG to send home (they're solid on sending Shelli out). Becky and John are both worried now. By 11:35am BBT, Becky has resigned to the fact that Vanessa could go to jury.
12:06pm BBT:

Becky/Jackie
Jackie fills Becky in on why they 'might' keep Vanessa instead of Shelli. Becky thinks Vanessa is more of a threat than Shelli is. Becky is mad that she "shot herself in the foot" with this week.
1:48pm BBT:

Shelli/Johnny Mac
Shelli/Jmac talk. She can tell something is going on with the votes and thinks Vanessa is campaigning against her.
So then she went and talked to Meg/Jackie for awhile about staying this week.
She warns them that Vanessa/Austin/Twins are strong together, while she (Shelli) would be 100% aligned with the Goblins. Jackie doesn't agree that Vanessa/Twins are that close anymore. Jackie mentioned how all this started with Jason getting evicted. Shelli said she knew it wasn't a good idea to get rid of Jason but that Vanessa convinced her otherwise in her own Vanessa-way.

2:44pm BBT, James/Shelli talk. Shelli did a lot of throwing Vanessa under the bus..calling her the puppet master, master manipulator, etc. She/Clay regret playing on the "dark side" of the house and that was their mistake. She said if she stayed, she wouldn't gun after any of them if she won HOH.

Becky/Meg/Jackie
John warns Becky that Vanessa is working to stay in the house pretty hard. Becky goes downstairs to talk to the Goblins. She tells them that it's a horrible idea to keep Vanessa in the house because she'll regain control of the house again. Meg/Jackie say that everyone is onto V's bullcrap these days, so that won't happen. Becky said whatever the house wants to do, they'll do and she'll just have to be okay with the decision.
**And that's it for the Afternoon post! Shelli is just as good out the door, while Vanessa could be going right out the door behind her depending on who wins HOH during the Double Eviction tomorrow. Can somebody tell me why can't the person that wins the veto comp let them make the replacement nomination instead of the HOH it would be a lot more interesting give me some feedbacks
It's funny, because I can't stand Shelli most of the time, but I'd rather Vanessa go this week because she has so much influence over people that she could quickly turn things back around and have a the austwins and her and steve running the house-it'd be like de ja vu, but without Clelli. The way the Goblins bow down to James could get old too though...

Yes I agree, mix it up so all players can make a decision or two. It would make for some really good T.V. and also Liz liking Austin, his poor girlfriend back home must feel terrible! !!!
Johnnie zip...to allow the veto winner to choose the replacement gives him/her too much power IMO...the Hoh should have all of the power for the week which includes choosing the replacement nominee. I agree, it would make for good tv to have the veto winner choose the replacement, but in most cases the Hoh worked hard to earn that position and it would be unfair to take that power from them.

They had this once. It was called the Diamond power of veto. I think the HOH should pick 2, america picks 1 and the veto winner gets to decide the replacement nom.

If the goblins and austwins keep Vanessa they deserve to lose the money.Cause past evictions and who was in power shows just who is running the game even to a moron in the Bob house can't be so blind.Yes Shelli is a threat but Vanessa is by far worse.
I agree the veto winner should be able to pick! OR- the person who wins the veto is safe.... And if that person isn't on the block, and they use it to save someone on the block, they forfeit the power. ie: Steve and Shelli are on the block and Vanessa wins- if she uses it to pull Shelli off then she can go up! It wouldn't definitely make people think before using it!

This means that Veto would have more power and use than HOH so nobody would compete for HOH and just wait for veto
@Donna...I totally agree. If the goblins win HOH, they will stick with the plan and get Becky, Steve or JMac on the block next. Not sure that the Austwins will do the same. With Vanessa there, she is too good a player and she will be right back in with the Austwins, with Steve along with them because I'm afraid JMac will be gone and they'll have the numbers again for awhile. Will Van continue to promise everyone safety and keep herself in for long? She's the most aggressive player and doesn't sit back and let things go on around her.
The goblins are wrong in thinking that the others want her gone. Julia definitely wants her there and the other two will want to but I'm afraid not just yet.
If they kept Shelli, she may go after James but maybe JMac and Steve could convince her to bide her time. She should be extremely grateful if they kept her. But, James didn't keep his word to them, which is part of the game, and she would be justified in doing the same to him. The difference is that she would promising all the goblins, not just James. Maybe they would end up making a good, strong alliance with the whole house against the Austwins. Now that would be great to see! Peace and quiet with no screaming and listening to the twins who sound like Fran on the Nanny and no more petting/rubbing.
It's a tough choice for the goblins but since it's such a risk going either way, why not go with what Jackie wanted and keep her loyalty?
@Johnnie & Mikimamma...I think it would be too much power given to the POV winner also. It might be interesting but it really would take too much power away from the HOH.
I don't know who they should send home, it will all depend on who wins HOH on Thursday - ha ha - but too late then!! I don't like either one and I see reasons to send either one home. I don't blame Becki for being upset, since the big plan was to get Vanessa out.
Wait - Austin has a girlfriend at home? or had? I doubt he does any more!

Austen's has already said he broke up with his girlfriend before arriving on the show. I guess he didn't want to upset her in case he feel for someone in the house. Not sure why he keeps harping on about Liz, she already told him she doesn't feel the same way about him as he feels about her.
Keeping Vanessa might back fire on the goblins. Have to stay this past two weeks have been pretty exciting. Whatever happens Thursday will change the game. I hope Vanessa leaves. How do they know that there is a double eviction coming up.
Usually I have a good idea of who could be heading out the door on a double eviction, but this season it is all in the air. The only person that I am kind of certain about with regards to safety is Meg. I can't her being put up next to anyone that she would go home against. Here is what I see happening
Vanessa/Steve take out Becky
Austin/Liz/Julia take out JMac
Shelli takes out James or Austin
JMac/Meg/James/Jackie take out Vanessa
Of course this is speculation and subject to change depending on the veto, but Thursday night is going to be crazy
Chomping on my nails waiting for the overnighter. Cant believe they're gonna flip and take out shelli, I get that its better for their game, but then that keeps Van Austwins alive with their mole Steve. It worries me for JMac. Wish he would join up with the Goblins for safety
