The plan is to still backdoor Austin, especially since he wasn't picked to play in the veto comp today. Shelli would obviously save Clay if she won it, while Johnny Mac told Becky he'd save her if he won it. If Liz wins and finds out about the backdoor Austin plan, she could opt to not use it, thus saving Austin (or anyone)
from going up as a renom. (Liz/Austin currently think the BD plan is for Steve.) Vanessa thought about telling Liz today about the backdoor plan for Austin and why she wants to do it, but both Jackie & Shelli advised her not to and to wait to see who wins Veto first.

Now that Clay won veto, he'll (obviously) pull himself off the block and then Austin can go up as the replacement nom and Operation Backdoor Austin should be a success. The Veto Ceremony is on Monday, so we'll see what happens between now and then! Until then, enjoy your evening watching the live feeds!! :D

I think they have cabin fever, they're bored, and it's hard to keep a secret. Ha!
I think Liz might feel betrayed by her alliance if they keep her in the dark as long as they have.
Van is a crazy threat. She's going to win this game if someone doesn't look at the big picture and outwit her! Who is gonna do that!!!

When does jury begin? Does anyone know?
Usually when they are down to 9 or 11 players. That way it'll be 7 or 9 votes.
Last season it was after 6 evictions so my guess is the same unless they change it because of the twins
If this game only had 16 houseguests, the jury phase would begin next week. Places 3-11 would make up a 9-person jury. This week's evictee would have been 12th place.
But Julia should enter the house next week; even though BB5's twin twist required those twins to avoid detection on top of eviction, the rule doesn't appear to be present in BB17. In that case, this week's evictee will probably be 13th place instead, which means the jury phase will be pushed forward a week.
Would be funny if Julia ends up not coming in because they didnt avoid detection,..throwing everyone's game haha

Things are blowing up in the BB house.
So much has happened since Vanessa told Liz. Austin isn't even going on the block any more. I knew she would totally chicken out. She is literally telling people to sneak around and find "reasons" to put up someone else so she can break her word to the rest of the house. Yet she was going to evict Austin for lying to her face. She tells people to do things she gets so pissed at if they do it to her, I can't stand Vanessa. I wish so badly that the other side of the house would win the hoh's, I'm tired of the Sixth Sense.

I think Vanessa is setting Austin and the twins up that is why she is leaving him in the house. Think about it she knows that neither one of the girls likes Austin the way he likes Liz. A toyed with heartbroken man like Austin will implode in the house and take the twins with him. You don't become a world class pro poker player with over 4 mill in tournament winnings without knowing how to read people and set them up. She knows exactly when people are lying to her and will bury them all. You may not like her game but if I am correct you will learn to respect it.
Liz and Julia will never let Austin go for 2 huge reasons: he'd be a target before them and (2) he'd do anything for Liz (he's already said that). While Vanessa's true form of gaming has yet to be uncovered, I dont think it was smart of her to leave Austin in this week, especially because the house wanted him gone. She got unneccessary "blood on her hands" and the other side of the house will gun after her/Clay/Shelli. (Granted, the order would be Shelli/Clay/Vanessa, but she's still on their radar now). Huge eff up on her part this week. If this is strategy, it makes zero sense to me.
I encourage everyone to have their favs and root for the HG's that they love and connect with. And us BB fans often change our "favs" throughout the season..just the way that cookie crumbles. I love hearing the feedback regardless! :)
