James thinks that once Shelli is gone, that Clay might go over to their side (James/Jackie/Meg). He said it's "Big Brother and you can bounce checks"..regarding Shelli making a deal with him on the endurance comp wall last night before Shelli jumped off. (She made him promise that her/Clay are safe this week.)
James wasn't going to put both Shelli/Clay up together at first. He was playing around with pawn ideas, and if so-and-so won veto, then he'd do this/that. But he just decided a little bit ago (yes, he's still awake and talking to Jackie/Meg) that he's going to put up Clay/Shelli together to ensure one of them goes home.
I have to take off for work, and since James is still up and talking (as of 7:28am BBT), I'm going to just give highlights from the night, now that we know what James wants to do at todays Nominations Ceremony.
9:20pm BBT:
Julia/Liz were talking about Austin. (Julia does not like Austin.) Austin joins them and Julia starts asking him about why he told Jason about the twins twist.

James talks to Jackie/Meg/Becky....wait, Becky??? Hmm. He mentions putting Steve up. Jackie wants to see Shelli up. James said Shelli is this weeks target and plays with the idea of Shelli VS Liz. James mentions he shouldn't have made that deal with Shelli because he was winning it anyway.
*Meg/Jackie throw around the idea of James putting up Vanessa/Liz, backdoor Shelli.
*Then they think of maybe James putting up Austin/Liz, backdoor Shelli.
2:10am BBT:
Rat girl Becky tells Clay that James wants to backdoor one of them this week, which sends Clay/Shelli into a panic.
3:30am BBT:
Clay/Shelli talk to James, asks if their deal is still solid. James (lies) and says yes.
4:20am BBT:
James asked Clay/Shelli who was throwing his name around as a possible renom (even though he was safe).
(**It was Clay/Shelli, by the way. lol)
6:40am BBT:
James tells Meg he thinks he's going to put up Clay/Shelli as the noms. No backdoor. No renoms. One of them goes home this week.
James: "Why use pawns? Just put up two targets."
James said he's pretty set on his decision. Meg said she has his back. Jackie does, too.
James: "Audrey, Jeff and Jason will be cheering."
7:20am BBT:
Becky goes into the bathroom with Jackie/James/Meg and James tells her he's putting up Clay/Shelli.
**So that's it for the Overnighter! Shelli/Clay will be the nominations today at the Nomination Ceremony. James is doing what Big Brother is all about..flipping the game, breaking promises, and gunning for those that could take him down. It's beautiful!!! I wonder if Becky will spill the beans to Clay/Shelli before the nom ceremony. Hmm. We'll see!! Either way you slice it, this whole week is gonna be fantastic on the live feeds!! :D

JMac has been my favorite all season long because of how funny he is. And he may stay that way. But if James really goes all in, nominating Vanessa and Liz with the possibility of it being Vanessa vs. Shelli at the end of this week, my favorite Asian country boy might dethrone my favorite goofy dentist.
UGH...if james wanted it to be a blindside, he can't tell Becky ANYTHING. So much for his goal of having them sit there with their jaws gaping when they see their faces show up on the board. Maybe this will show James/Meg/Jackie that they can't trust Becky.
Why did Jackie vote to evict Jason?? And why the heck can't James/Meg/Jackie see through Becky?!? I hope that James sticks to his plan no matter what. Maybe Vanessa will keep her trap shut this week and let Shelli/Clay be the targets. Saw Vanessa tell Austin she doesn't care if she's evicted because at least she can go see her girlfriend. Is ANYONE after the final prize?
Considering the fact that Shelli/Clay/Vanesssa lied to the whole house about getting Austin out, I'd consider any lies James tells them to be justified.
Yeah I agree, I'm excited about James flipping the house, but WHY do they feel they can include Becky in their convos?! Honestly...she's ruining all the fun! PLEASE let Meg or Jackie figure out that Becky is a RAT!!!!!!
FINALLY no more backdoor! Good ole fashion, putting up your targets next to each other! That is what makes it so good when the too people on the block know they have to play HARD in veto to save themselves. Its do or die, not "do" on one side and "throw it" on the other.

yay for James!! you go get'em!!! I'm so tired of the popularity contest in the house! "pretty boy and pretty girl" get to run the house for weeks! Here comes the country boy!!! I hope they bring Johnny Mack in on this- I'd love to see James and John in the finals!!!
OH and I truly wish they would have gotten rid of Becky last night, she's invisible!!!!! At least Jason would have kept things interesting!! UGH!

As of early this morning James is putting up Shellie and Clay, Shellie being his target. Can't wait to see them scramble and campaign against each other if neither of them wins veto of course.

I'm sooooo glad James won HOH and is nominating Clay and Shelli , but if the Veto is used he has to nominate Vanessa to ensure that one of them goes home. James Jackie and Meg still don't have the votes
James has to be a real threat you also got Johnny Mac and Steve they can't go to the end of floaters stir up as much as you can come on make this a good week

It doesn't really matter if they have the votes, one of them will leave this week, so if it's not shelli then clay.
That isn't very nice. She is boring as heck but she couldn't help being hit by a train.
Umnm...i live in Denver and yes, yes she sure could have avoided being hit by a train. She's a cocky athlete, I'm sure she thought she could outrun the light rail here...

Actually I think the smartest move for James to renom would be Liz as that would guarantee getting Julia, Austin & Vanessa to vote out whichever of Clay/Shelli remained on the block to go along with Meg & Jackie which would be all the votes needed.
I just hope they realize James, Meg & Jackie that Becky not on their side. Sorry Clay/Shellie that's James had to lie to you but thats a big part of Big Brother. Look at all the lies that have be told to past evict nominees, just part of the game. Let's hope Meg or Jackie become Hoh next week. Keep the ball rolling.
Well since I've never been to Denver I will have to concede I don't know if she thought she could or not but there are just so many more worthy reasons not to like her in BB Other than her appearance

James....great power move by putting up Clay and Shelli. They have to be split up if anyone else stands a chance at making it to the end. Everyone needs to remember BB17 is a game.
